Re: Manu Tuilagi

There was a time when Tom and Ben Curry were viewed as identikits of each other. Then I seem to recall one or the other was injured. Apart from the benefit of experience which Tom Curry now has, are there obvious reasons in terms of talent why Ben has slipped so far behind. I'm just interested. Cle...

Re: Finishing this season

I'm slightly concerned. Has anybody ever seen a game where the water bottles aren't run onto the pitch a darn site more often than twice a game? Ever seen a referee say 'get those bottles off the pitch'? I worry that we will see referees telling waterboys 'not yet' when players are in need of hydra...

Re: Team for Exeter

The short turnarounds should give us a reasonable indication on the relative strengths and depth of the squads. Sale first 23 looks strong, Exeter have impressive depth. I'm expecting us to be gnarly and a right pain to play against. Cant wait to see how the remainder of the season goes. I think it...

teds wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2020 8:45 am Ok so apart from a sense of shock about how few home- grown players are starting for Sale, it’s difficult to see how Quins have a chance.
Wouldn’t be too quick to right them off Teds, that’s a strong Quins line up and they’re at home.
As you suggest though Sale must start favourites

I think when he first arrived it was mentioned that he was a little way behind the rest of the squad.
If true no point in risking him if he’s not ready

Re: Team for Exeter

I take it the club will name the team tomorrow? I miss the days when the team was named on Thursday for a Saturday game I think it’s been Friday at noon for weekend fixtures for a few seasons now, unless of course it’s a Friday fixture. I would imagine for the Wednesday night games it will be Tuesd...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

They haven't updated it, it's going to be played from the 7th November to the 12 December, if Covid doesn't return with a vengeance in New Zealand. I am interested to see how NZ cope with this (compared to a lot of the world) small outbreak but large for NZ, it might help other countries. So all be...

Re: Finishing this season

I hated the water breaks during the football but I understand its necessity especially during the hot weather, hopefully it will lead to less tying of the shoe laces to speed the game up. Absolute necessity imo, unlike football they can be tied into a natural break in the game around 20 minutes, sc...

Re: Team for Exeter

Most Exeter fans on the unofficial site expect a bonus point win by chiefs and a 20-30 point winning margin. Let’s hope that we can shut them up :smt016 If I was Exeter, I would be more worried about this fixture than Tigers. No one knows how teams are going to come out of lockdown, and Tigers are ...
