Re: Tigers v Castres on April 4th - 12-45pm Kick Off

Ah ok my apologies. I suppose it is a benefit/reward for those fans that have stuck with the team, and the club showing the desire to get a decent crowd in

I thought I read it was a £10 discount for season ticket holders. I may be wrong of course

Re: Saracens are relegated!

Various industry sources have told RugbyPass that they estimate Itoje’s new salary to be somewhere in the region of £750,00 to £1 million.

This is taken from the press almost exactly a year ago.

Was Hepetema any good during his brief spell here, to be honest I don’t remember him really? It wasn’t until 15/16 that I started paying proper attention to all things Tigers.
From what I remember he was a development player and didn’t really

Re: Gallagher Premiership this weekend

Controversial opinion but I believe that Reinach wasn’t seatbelt tackling he was grabbing the shoulder of Hassell-Collins to propel himself and I don’t think it was a penalty try, not that it matters because on all accounts the Exiles got a deserved win. That’s how Foley read it too. I just don’t s...

Re: Gallagher Premiership this weekend

How good were Irish there ? Mafi, Naholo, Coleman....and Hepetema showing up well. Deserved win. Honestly didn’t think they were that great tbh, but did enough to win Mafi only played the last 20 and Napolo name was hardly ever mentioned, the young winger on the other side had a much better game. D...

Re: Tigers during the 6N

Cardiff Blues winger Tom Lane out for Wales with hamstring injury picked up during training. Poss out for the entire tournament. Means more likelihood of us losing Jonah Holmes to Wales during the Six Nations. Good news for Holmes at least. Bad luck for Lane, who keeps getting injured at key times,...

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

Good team reckon we could get a win, very unlucky not to get the win last year in my view but that team especially the pack can more than do a result over Bath. Oi! Calm down. Don't go getting all enthusiastic on me. 😂😂 I retired yesterday and posh Richard bought me a special bottle of Remy to cele...

Very pleased to see Hardwick get the nod over Reid. We're going with the player in-form.
Hardwick being a much better goal kicker must help too

Too even to call this one, both teams have roughly equal experience and x factor scattered about. Does anybody know what's happened to Viljoen? Seems to have dropped off the map.
Played for the development side at Worcester. Not living up to expectations I believe

Re: Tigers v Castres on April 4th - 12-45pm Kick Off

I've just seen that the kick-off times for the European QFs have been announced with an early start for Tigers v Castres, 12h45 on Saturday April the 4th. Castres will without doubt come with a strong side as their chances of making the Top14 play-offs are looking thin at the moment as they're down...

Re: Finn Russell

I think that he was always going to be walking a fine line with some of the self interested taking over. Hastings I don't rate, I've seen better in National Two! Possibly led to Russell not giving a! I mean did anyone ever hear of a player actually asking for the captaincy and getting it, back in m...

Re: Finn Russell

Seems a bit harsh to boot him out for going out on the lash with his mates who he might not have seen for ages, does feel sometimes like the game is too quick to forget these lads are in their mid 20s and still learning about life. Even three pints deep he'd still be their best player! I think that...

Re: Saracens are relegated!

Nigel Wray has now issued his own statement, it’s on my phone and too long to copy, but basically he’s saying that nothing was done wrong intentionally, that they originally thought the investments were within the cap, but have since realised that they weren’t. Obvious attempt to shoulder the respon...
