How do we know he's far more dangerous in the centres for us when he has yet to play there for us?
He's played enough there elsewhere for us to know that he is a far better centre than winger

With a development squad stacked with young lock options, three international locks and then a solid clubman in Wells if we are signing another lock then need to show a real point of difference. We don't need just a lock, a 20+ stone monster who won't last the full 80 mins but will provide impact f...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Agree about the subs, coaches need to trust what they’re seeing on the pitch rather than the GPS data and pre-set subs. Think Underhill being back has been massive. Doesn’t seem to get many plaudits this tournament and isn’t as flashy as Earl at 8. But he’s quietly gone about smashing people and ge...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

1 minor gripe is that I thought the front row could have lasted a bit longer. It gave me nightmarish flashbacks to Lancaster laptop rugby!

Smith did give Hayes a tough time by scrummaging illegally, Hurd came on having watched from the airlines and no doubt been advised how to counter the tactics and Smith was no longer so effective. I think it was a part of our young props education. Smith is a decent prop but I am not sure he is bet...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Fine margins.. Italy could well have beaten France had that kick not hit the bar and were it not for a last gasp penalty tonight they would have been 5th not 2nd! Shows how close it has been this year.. very fine margins! In fact.. weren’t Scotland denied the win late on against France also with an...

Was it a penalty at the end?
Yes,no arms tackle by Earl
Seems amazing that they couldn't find a single replay of a game defining penalty though
They seem to be like that at times don’t they :smt005

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

England can’t help but burn themselves and that silly penalty at the end just sums them up! What was it actually for though? I’ve watched it 5 times and I can’t see anything even slightly resembling a no arms tackle??? Absolutely nothing there whatsoever unless I’m missing something? I saw it at th...
