Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

This thread reminds me a little of Big Brother fans who watch the live feed when everyone's asleep 😂

Had there been less than a score and the win not secured, I would agree that keeping the ball tightly controlled would be the right decision. Kicking the ball in this instance was not going to put the win at risk.
Lets just celebrate the win and move on to next week.

Do you think we could see Wells at 6 or perhaps Reffell and MVS starting together?

Re: Saints Away - 30th October 2021

To further spice things up,what about a 6/2 split if we go Ford and Burns? It’s an option

Re: Saints Away - 30th October 2021

Can't say I agree. Heggarty isn't primarily a flyhalf like Burns so I'd not say they are similar as options at 15. He's nothing like Ford. From what I saw in pre season Heggarty is the closest we have to a like for like replacement to Steward. The fact he's played some games at 10 in the past I thi...

Same here,Ford/Burns/Hegarty in the same 23 is overkill and unbalanced Completely agree Scott. , Can't say I agree. Re: Saints Away - 30th October 2021

I'd like to see Kini start at 15. He is great over the ball at the breakdown which is a real bonus and would be very useful against Saints. Hegarty hasn't played enough this season so I'd start Kini at 15 with Porter on the bench at 23 as centre/wing cover. Burns would offer the full back cover if ...

Re: What do Freddie Steward and Maro Itoje have in common?

As much as Steward is a starter for me to say he is nailed on isn't quite right IMO. Yes he is IMO the best fullback in the country, but others are better than him at other aspects of the game. The likes of Parton and Malins both have aspects that if England were to play in certain styles may make ...

Re: What do Freddie Steward and Maro Itoje have in common?

Depends what you want from your FB. Fundamentally he's arguably the best we've got and although his attack is getting there there are still others more dangerous than him at present. Me personally I'd take a Rob Kearney all day and let your wingers provide the magic. Not that he was any slouch
