Re: WHY?

Agree with much of the off pitch examples of why they do so well mentioned here. But I'll add an on pitch reason that I believe has massively helped them. They've both learnt how to push and break the laws of the game and play the refs very well. 2 seasons ago every other team were quite rightly com...

Re: Tigers v Falcons

How Ford made man of the match I have no idea. Defence poor again and his disire to constantly kick the ball away in the last 10 minutes instead of just control the game through possesion was criminal and could have cost us the game on another day. I would have given either Spencer or Denton MOM. C...

Re: Jonny May

There isn't much up top in Johnny's head to damage. Proper space cadet. Edit: some seems to have taken real offense to a comment in jest. It's not like his teammates take the mick out of him for it..... https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2017/11/14/george-ford-jonny-mays-flatmate-now-carer-life...

Re: Christian Wade

Really not a fan of Wade, hope this isn't true. Very one dimensional, doesn't commit to tackles properly, doesn't go looking for work around the pitch. There's a reason he's never properly broke into the England set up despite his flashy tries Would be much better (and cost effective) to hold onto M...

Re: Matt O'Connor

The biggest problem with Mauger is that his gameplan was far too complicated for both the player base and the Premiership. It was very obvious that as soon as things got a bit difficult the players on the pitch had no idea what to do and everything fell apart. Too many of our tries last season came ...

Re: Tigers vs Falcons

On a day when I'd have snatched your hands off for an LBP. I'll take the win. A nice victory Remy is going down well. Well played lads. Completely agree. Having lost our first 2 games, to get a convincing win up there is fantastic. The lack of a tbp is unfortunate but for people to be complaining i...

MOC probably going for the steadier head of Smith, him and Toomua have been a rock in defense.

Re: Tigers Vs Quins

He was poor against the provincial and SR teams too, and was dominated last week against Wasps. Cole suffered in the one mid-week game against a LH that was continuously allowed to bore in against him, completely incorrect reffing of the scrum, but only to be expected from southern hemisphere & ...

Re: Tigers Vs Quins

Sinkler is a poor scrummager. Got shown up last week and made the Lions scrum significantly weaker when he came on. Very dangerous in the loose though.

Interesting to see Malouf back in favour by posters on here. It would nice to have an update on Thompstone, Holmes, Catchpole etc soon though.

None of the other players there are captains. They're obviously after the "stars" of the respective teams not the captains.

AusTiger wrote: Thu Aug 24, 2017 3:06 am What's the difference between the playing and replica jersey and why is one twice the price of the other?
Playing kit is what the players wear - high performance material that is figure hugging, with nothing printed or stitched on.

Re: Ticket and cup fiasco

It makes sense not to refill the cups, with the bar setups it's very difficult to track whose is whose, and pouring into dirty cups takes longer as it produces more head. However if they do have that policy the cup return at the end of the game should be easy. I've had similar issues at Sixways and ...
