Re: Tigers vs Worcester

Not going to even try and pick a squad for this but I thought the attack was shocking against Sale. I'd like to see Worth more at 10, Olowafela tried more at outside centre in attack as he has serious attacking potential to cause confusion for opposition defenders when moving onto the ball and runn...

Re: Tigers vs Worcester

I'm sure it's just my bias, frustration, wanting us to do well and then seeing players such as Taufua unavailable, but do we tend to have more players crocked than other clubs. Our front line players always seem to be injured. Which seems to undermine consistency of selection. I never have much clu...

Re: Murphy's "vision".

You have to give the man credit, to have such an abysmal win percentage yet not get laughed out of the building for making grandiose statements about the plan is pretty impressive. Total win % across all games this season Exeter 76% Sarries 67% Bristol 61% Saints 52% Sale 52% Tigers 48% Bath 43% Ha...

Re: England v Ireland

Farrell being average is nothing new, for nine international seasons now he has been average, nine seasons!!! My overall opinion is balanced over those nine seasons. He is a career international and not a performance player in my opinion. He has a hold on this group that needs breaking. Ford is a p...

Re: England v Ireland

It's not bias, it's recognition of how well the opposition have played to win. With England it's always we played poorly and this or that didn't go to plan or it's an away match so a loss is to be expected and never an acceptance that the opponents were just better. France have changed and been bet...

Re: England v Ireland

Good man, well said England were made to play poorly by the opposition in both matches. This is the trouble with the limited England supporter, such is the level of arrogance they can't see their own weakness or credit the opposition with being better! They came up against teams that would not be b...

Re: England v Ireland

I wish Tiger's were that boring at the moment The constant carping about England (and in particular Jones beggars belief) in my ever so 'umble opinion. Only two teams reached the WC Final and one demolished the All Blacks in the SF. It was a fine achievement. They have played 240 minutes of rugby -...

Re: England v Ireland

Watching England v Ireland was like watching paint dry! A win today but England aren't developing to win a World Cup with Ewels playing at No8 in my opinion! He's a big fella but he is no Duane Vermeulen! He is just a placeholder for Billy Vunipola. England do need to identify a back up though. I a...

Re: England v Ireland

I’ll take boring wins! And the boring losses! A loss is a loss. It could be the highest scoring, most free flowing game of rugby you’d ever see but if we lost, I’d still be disappointed whereas I’d be happier with a 3-0 win which has seen the ball kicked numerous times and and 10,000 scrums. I don'...

England very good defensively but still a lot of work-ons in my point of view. Still at least Farrell has learnt to wrap.
It was embarrassing, like watching some kid having a tantrum after being told no!
Can we please have a new skipper!!!

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

i was at Sale and we were well beaten by the better team. Marginal decisions by the ref seemed to go against Tigers but that was not why we lost, we on the night were just not good enough. It is true that we had five players, a third of our team with England, Sale had just one and replaced him with...
