Re: Jordan Taufua signs for Lyon OU with immediate effect

We do have some good players remaining but other than Wiese I do not see the others as bull dozing line breaking call carriers. We need another one at least to give some cover. I thought he could be a signing for the long term but 2 year Contracts and team churn seems to be a problem. It is difficul...

Re: Gallagher Premiership Round 6

The defence and space seems like someone made The Rec pitch 50% wider. Mad.

Re: Diamond leaves Sale!

I thought the article suggested a dispute regarding future direction after the loss. It seems an extreme response to a dispute after 3 games and a reasonable season, by their recent standards, last year. Hence I wonder if there was a bit of underlying tension from the previous season result?

Re: Diamond leaves Sale!

So after loss to Falcons something is said by Chief Exec or owners that Dimmes gets sufficiently upset about to walk out after ten years. It could be that he is in an emotional state due to recent family loss and considers work / life balance needs addressing. He has my sympathy. Alternatively or ad...

Re: George Ford and tactics

Kicking the ball over the defence to run on and score too. A skill and coordination that is exciting. If you can break the line by a multi pronged full frontal attack that that seems to work too. So there are current options beyond the auks running at each other until the ball is kicked up for a fre...

Re: London Irish Away

This is the same Hepetema that hardly got on the first team bench when he was with Tigers. He did not perform for us or was not given the opportunity and then ran rings around is. That speaks to the difference between a coherent team and a set of individuals that have been wearing the Tigers short o...

Re: Amazon Prime

I posted thy is on the game threads but at the beginning of the England game particularly the camera man or producer got the cameras zoomed in too close. I could see the player about to be passed to or the ball on rucks on the line when England were in the Georgian 22. Even reset the TV in case it w...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup

Is it me or has the camera man or producer got the cameras zoomed in too close on this game. Cannot see the play about to be passed to or the ball on rucks on the line. Even reset the TV in case it was my setup? Seem to want picture on the face more than the ball. Need to have some understanding of ...

Re: Offside at a kick off

As Loretta say, no law change is required, just actually following it. In the definitions section at the from “forward“ is defined as “ Forward: Towards the opposition’s dead-ball line.” So a pass forward is one that goes towards the opposition dead-ball line. Nothing regarding the hands. I do like ...

Re: England Training Squad announced

Achilles tendinitis can take 6 months plus if you exacerbate it by not allowing full recovery. Not much can be done other than eccentric stretching and potentially shockwave therapy which has a poor evidence base in this condition. I speak from experience and I was just being a touch judge running t...

Re: Semi Final thread

I thought that one of the problems Bath had was that they did not play with sufficient pace so Exeter could get back into a good defensive set. I think Spencer did his England chances some harm today.

Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi

Can’t believe people are still clinging to the officiating excuses! Time to wake up and smell the coffee for Gods sake! We didn't deserve to win that game, but neither did Toulon and if the game had been officiated fairly its entirely possible that they didn't deserve to win a little bit more than ...
