Re: A Proper Clear Out
Geordan Murphy and Rory Underwood. Can anyone remember whether they ever played in the same team? Did a very young Geordie take the field with an about-to-retire Rory in 1997?

Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20
And their first match of the 2020/21 season is against... Seems like most Tigers games these days feature a reunion with an ex-Tiger!

Re: Today’s games
Antoine Dupont certainly is a terrific player who draws comparison with Faf de Klerk. Both are tough, talented players who instinctively make good decisions and I'm kind of reassured that both are ( relatively) small men suggesting that top level rugby isn't just for bulked-up giants. De Klerk has b...

Re: Today’s games
Listening to some of the England and some of the Italian players singing their anthems badly in a cavernous, empty stadium was truly, terribly awful! Hope the match will be an improvement

I know we should have got used to seeing sport in empty stadia by now but watching Wales v Scotland in an empty Parc y Scarlets seems a particularly sterile and desolate experience.

But the nature of rugby with scrummaging, tackling etc and, to be blunt, the inevitabl...

Re: J J Williams
Bobby Ball (half of 80s comedy duo, Cannon and Ball) has also passed away. Both deaths were reported on Radio 4 News this morning but Bobby got top billing.. Not making any particular point but I do wonder sometimes how BBC news editors decide on their priorities and running order.

Re: Baa Baas game called off
According to a blow by blue account of the events this week in the Daily Telegraph, they all signed legally binding contracts to abide by the Covid protocols. Some of the players broke them twice: a pub visit on Tuesday evening (which was undiscovered at first) and the now well publicised visit to t...
