Re: Clash at HQ for 5 years

I agree with many of the comments posted so far, in particular those referring to the ridiculous P.A. announcer and, in the above comment, the response from traders around the city of Bath. I am still getting used to a new job which has fully freed up my weekends for the first time in almost 40 year...

Re: Away strip for the final

I have to agree with northerntiger that the orange strip was the worst. This might sound like a "wind up" but I am seriously colour blind in the orange / green / brown / red kind of spectrum and found it very difficult watching the Tigers in the orange kit. I actually thought the current a...

Bath game at Twickenham

Just managed to wangle a weekend off work for the Bath game at Twickenham. Just wondering if anyone is able to advise on where the Tigers fans are likely to be congregating in the stadium. Poor decision in my opinion, not having the game down at The Rec and forcing us to deal with a ticket agency. S...

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2016/17

I've noticed there is an on-going thread on the forum regarding the frequent disturbances from supporters paying visits to the bar during the games. A visit to the bar is usually followed by a visit to the toilet! I stand on the terrace and prefer to my drinking before and after the game. I am all i...

Munster away trip

I'm hoping to get over to Ireland in December for the Munster game and was just wondering if anyone can advise on ticketing areas, hopefully based on last season's experiences. I'm trying to decide whether to go with a standing ticket and soak up the atmosphere or go with a seating ticket and (perha...

Glasgow Warriors trip

I know it's a bit late in the day but I have just secured some time off work and am thinking of travelling up to Glasgow for next week's game. I'm not sure what the ticket availability is like but am wondering if anyone can offer any information about where the Tigers contingent is likely to congreg...

Re: Wearing a tigers shirt abroad

I was in Central Park in New York one afternoon back in 1998 when my mate, a Coventry City fan, spotted a huge bloke in their recent strip (the light blue / dark blue stripey combo they had back then, actually quite a decent shirt). Excited at finding a fellow fan so far from home he eagerly approac...

Re: This Season's European Fixtures

Well, speaking for myself, I would like to reply that the issue is that some of us are employed in shift work which entails working unsociable hours (Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays). The sooner the fixtures are announced the sooner I can negotiate with my work colleagues to swap shifts to su...

Re: Tigers v Sarries - Saturday 21st May at 12-30

Unfortunately, my crazy job means I have the occasional week of seven 11-hour night shifts and the Saracens game falls in between the fifth and sixth nights. I've missed a portion of sleep before to attend games but nothing anyone is posting here is convincing me I should do it again. Allianz Park l...

Re: Old Programmes

Hi, I'm a fairly new member just browsing through some unanswered posts. Did you ever find a home for your programmes? Hope you didn't have to retire them to a recycling bin and would be willing to take them off your hands (with a donation, of course) if you're still holding on to them. Regards, Des

Re: The Times Crossword

I remember a great cryptic clue in The Times a few years ago. Eight letters. Head of the miners' union. Any thoughts?
