Cockers on Radio Leicester last night said Pietersen will arrive in august after super rugby, but Toomua is contracted to Australia and so will probably arrive in October after the Rugby Championship

Seems a bit odd to leave an announcement so late. Unless the deal sin't completed yet that is

Messed around with arty farty designs for years now. A nice simple kit like the 13/14 one we wore when we last won the final or similar to the cotton trader days would be nice

Thacker looked like he came off with a hand injury so I'd imagine it'd be Bateman starting with Ghiraldini on the bench. Maybe Smith to make a return to replace Manu?

O'Connor has played pretty much non stop since the beginning of last season due to ITM cup so I think there was always a risk of injury with fatigue, but he is seen as long term replacement. Signing De Villiers who is renowned for being injury prone does seem a bit odd as a short term signing in hin...

From one of the interviews on Radio Leicester it was mentioned you need to kick well back to Saracens, which could explain Bell at 15 instead of Veainu. Bench has a lot of impact players on it which could excel once the game starts to open up. Really looking forward to seeing Genge get on again

Completely agree Iain, that's why I avoided making the comparison at first. I think he has the potential and physical presence to develop other similarities though, other than just having a good swing on him

I see/ hope to see Barrow developing into a legend of the club. He's clearly got a few a few discipline issues at the minute but he will get wiser with experience. He has a massive presence on the pitch and already has leadership qualities at such a young age

Ashton's reputation is always going to haunt him. The challenge was stupid but for me that clip doesn't show him going for the eyes. I hope he doesn't get a lengthy ban because I must be one of the few people who was looking forward to seeing him play for England again, he's been playing very well ...
