Re: Round 5/6 Fixtures - Usual third rate treatment of fans
We bought our Eurostar tickets the first day they became available. This sale only works out £25 cheaper for the times we're travelling. I don't mind having paid slightly more in exchange for the comfort of already having the tickets.

As a wise man used to say, have you thought of contacting the club rather than asking a bunch of forum members?

Re: London Irish - fixture change
Fair enough. I've been in central Europe for a few days and the news of the wendyball hadn't reached me.

I assume it's been moved so as not to clash with the England v Ireland 6N match.

Re: Round 5/6 Fixtures - Usual third rate treatment of fans
It doesn't matter what time the matches kick off, somebody somewhere is going to be upset. If you want to watch live European rugby, then 'inconvenient' start times are a fact of life so there's no point whining about them.

Re: Why I Can't Vote for the Goldsmithi's December Player Aw
Only partly true - it's more like the voting in a one-party state: you can vote for anyone you like as long as they are one of the three candidates on the official party list. My sentiments exactly, DickyP. Personally, I don't see the point in this. The backs only see their watch as a pretty bracel...

No. I followed the link from the news item which took me to here. I then scrolled down, chose my player, entered my details and submitted it.Noddy555 wrote:You have to be a twitter or a face book follower, don't you?

Re: Why I Can't Vote for the Goldsmithi's December Player Aw
Am I the only person on the planet who has absolutely no need for Facebook, Twitter or their like? No. I flatly refuse to join the flock. I have no compulsion to share inane comments or meaningless photographs with people over the net. If I wish to communicate with someone, I've found texting, emai...

Re: Tigers chants & songs
Well said Reggie.
It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when the "Tigers! Tigers!" chant goes up when either we're camped within the opposition's 5m line or we're defending our try line.

Re: Tigers chants & songs
I'm surprised people are suggesting chants/songs that relate only to a particular player. I cannot think of any in rugby that do this: they are all for the team. Individual chants are very much a football thing. I remember, when I was young, stupid and followed football, standing on the Pop Side at ...
