Re: Mark Bakewell - gone? (Rumour)

Just a thought, but maybe there's legal or contractual reasons that were negotiated within the severance that prevent the club from releasng the information? No, that's be too sensible wouldn't it. Let's just get the knives out instead...... What kind of severance agreement includes a clause that s...

Re: SIMON COHEN AND TOM SCOTT

I don't resent people making a profit and yes the hotel etc may be a good idea to provide revenue for the maintenance of the club however I would suggest that the primary focus has to be, and I feel has not been the rugby, the reputation and brand of which is expected to sell the hotel. If the curre...

Re: SIMON COHEN AND TOM SCOTT

It was stated elsewhere that Tom Scott wouldn't want to see the club fail. In which sense of fail I wonder. I don't know if Mr Scott is a supporter or rugby enthusiast, perhaps he views it as purely a business investment and would presumably be satisfied with a 'fair' return on his investment. What ...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

Was worth going to for the way we played and to see us giving our backs and some youngsters a chance to shine. Lewis looks a real prospect as does Steward. The only area of concern for me was our set piece - against this standard of opposition, I was disappointed to see our failure to dominate the ...

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

My old colts coach used to say if you beat a team by five tries you've had a good game, if you beat them by ten they're in the wrong league. It was a decent old day out today but as a fan of the game you never really want to see a nine try thrashing, felt awful for the Calvisano lads trudging off a...

Leinster are everything we’re not. Seriously impressive second half v Saints. Bit of a reality check for our neighbours...
Impressive indeed. Makes our performance against saints look even more woeful. A chasm between us and Leinster.

Re: Coaches worth their weight in gold

Clubs investing big money on aspects outside the cap is interesting. Wasps have fallen foul of having abysmal training facilities in recent years. Realistically Tigers could improve significantly in that area as well. If Vesty hasn't already been taken by England then he'd be a prime example of a c...
