Re: It was 10 years ago...

I had to watch it on record. I came back home and turned on my sky box and was surprised to see that the game was still being recorded when it should have finished. For the life of me I couldn't fathom it out! Had tickets for the final in Edinburgh so the feeling of joy at that Crane kick was awesom...

Re: Les Cusworth post match interview

Really enjoyed listening to him - talked a lot of sense.
Liked the way he said "pick and go" too - for some reason that tickled me.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

I genuinely like the enthusiasm with some of the signings, but without coaching appointments (and sackings), a top four place is a pipedream! Is top four place the genuine target for next season? IMO, the realistic targets should be something like: 2019/2020 season = minimum top 6 finish (qualify f...

Re: All Coaches except Boris must go now..

For me the longer we hold on to wishing for the old Tigers DNA to return the further we will slide. We have to move on and create a new DNA that is fit for the current day. We need a world class no nonsense DOR who can be able to bring in who he wants as Head Coach and all the other coaching positio...

Re: Mike Ford is on his way !!

Our defence currently is not good for some reason that I cannot explain. This thread suggests that Tigers are considering the appointment of an experienced defence coach/consultant to the staff. The guy is possibly available now, the club were criticised when there was a delay in appointing Bakewel...

Re: A summary of Tigers recruitment in the last 5 years.

Agree - as many have said it all boils down to recruitment - and therefore Ged Glynn. It doesn't help having had 3/4 Head coaches in that time (depending on how you want to class them) - but instability has been caused IMO from short term-ism from the BoD. If the longer term strategy isn't there - o...

Anyone else a bit worried about TV? That's 4 or 5 weeks missing now isn't it - must have been an extremely bad concussion.

Hope that Tonga let him recover.

Re: Autumn Internationals

Think Don Armand should be called up - need some carrying power in the pack.
Him, Shields and Curry could make up the back row - underhill on the bench.

Re: Ulster v Tigers

Same old - worrying that we can't learn from our mistakes. Line out - fell apart again Tackling - way too many missed again Feao too - both this week and last week - makes a couple of metres but holds the ball in one hand and loses it in collision. School boy stuff - he's not good enough. Need to gi...

Re: Tigers App

Go to Settings > Notifications > Tigers, turn badges off. Depending on your other settings you'll still get the notifications. Doesn't fix the underlying fault with the app but does get rid of the red number. Great - thanks for that. It's kind of OCD - but I feel a sense of satisfaction when I clea...

Re: Tigers App

I like the app apart from on iOS I can't get rid of the red notification. It was something that came in months ago and hasn't been fixed. Does anyone know if there is a fix? I like the notifications during a match as it goes to my phone and I can keep up to date when out without it looking like I'm ...

Re: Tigers v Warriors

Prsumably we don't know if Thompstone and Veainu are carrying knocks or just rested. Regardless it's good to see Olowofela ad Holmes getting a start. I thought Kitchener was playing well second half of last season so hopefully he can do a decent job. A repeat of last weeks performance should be goo...
