Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Imo Bath are a good comparison. One of the historic power houses of English rugby results have not been great, at least partially down to internal promotion and the wrong coaching set up. They have now found the right man and have stuck with him, this is his 3rd season, and that is showing dividend...

And he’s only 23!! Whilst he may always lack the pace of some, I’m sure he can and will still work on and improve the attacking side of his game. Maybe part of the ‘issue’ is that he plays the way he is asked to play. And he does that very well.

Re: Other European games - 05-07th April 2024

It’s funny. I feel the opposite about Leinster. Their lineout creaked at times, their scrum certainly did. Look, Tigers aren’t European contenders (yet). None of us thought so before the game and it came to pass, despite an encouraging performance from us. I think Leinster might struggle against a s...

if Borthwick keeps injuring Martin we should threaten the RFU for the medical costs and his wages whilst unavailable its getting beyond a joke now they keep sending him back broken What’s getting behind a joke is opinions like this that seem to think there’s some sort of deliberate policy to injure...

It was interesting listening to the BBC Leicester pod interview with Jasper talking about why he's left us, basically said if his dad was able to travel he'd probably have stayed as he wants him involved in his granchilds life. Suggests that SA is probably his destination, but Japan's shortened sea...

Player discontent leaking in at HQ according to accounts,Borths won’t have long if this is the case and the results don’t change. ‘According to accounts’? Sources? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2024/03/02/england-attack-ignored-training-six-nations-borthwick/ Don’t have a subscription, I’...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Personally if Tigers are thinking of recruiting a new backs/attack coach I would not be disappointed if Catt joined us. I thought that too. And then I wondered about how much club experience he has? England did not play that well when he was backs coach there and how much influence does he have ove...

Re: Ealing PRC game info

It must be a worry how inept we are after time off this season, but probably better than the Scarlets were on Friday... Wonder if we will see Pollard in the final. Funnily enough, in his interview just now, DMK said Pollard, Julian and Jasper were helping the team to prepare, but they were ‘ineligi...

Re: Ealing PRC game info

…but as much as anything else our lack of a backs coach is obvious to see. It’s a bit like watching England, when we have front foot ball or win a turnover, do you ever feel that Tigers (or England) could go from one end of the field to the other? I don’t.
