Re: Tigers v Sale (A) - Premiership - Friday 10th May 2024 - KO: 7:45pm

I can’t get my ahead around all these criticisms and doubts surrounding DMK. He was hardly going to come in and strip absolutely everything out from players to staff. He’s had a season to learn and assess what he has and he now deserves time and patience for:us to start to mould things to how he see...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

..but with how other situations have been handled this year, ie attack coach, I am fearing the worst. You clearly must have inside knowledge about what went on and the circumstances around it to suggest that the management have handled it in an unsatisfactory and incompetent manner. Do please tell ...

Really? What has he actually achieved, though?

Re: Cockers thoughts on the Prem etc

I’d still like to see some of Cockerill’s passion in our present coaches. I couldn't agree more, together with his feistiness and a do "everything" to win attitude. Ii couldn’t agree less. Depends what you mean by ‘passion’? Didn’t do Cockers much good in the end, did it? Was Deano ‘passi...

Surely that's Manu Vunipola?
It is very strange
Not with 75 caps for England.

Re: Doom and Gloom

If Gloucester were to win the Challenge Cup, they would take the 8th English place in the Champions Cup....Tigers would then be in the Challenge Cup if they finish 8th! Ohhhhh and that would really be the final nail in the coffin for this season horribilus :smt010 Not if we keep playing like this! ...

Re: Tigers social post about threats

Indeed but it must apply to everyone that resorts to abusive and/or threatening behaviour no matter who they are. Agreed. The definition of ‘abusive’ is an interesting one though. I, for one, think there are many posts on this very forum that edge into the ‘abusive’, whether that be towards other p...

Re: Leinster funding

And yet in this country the support our private schools give to rugby is used as a club to bash the game over the head. ‘Toffs game’ and all that.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Imo Bath are a good comparison. One of the historic power houses of English rugby results have not been great, at least partially down to internal promotion and the wrong coaching set up. They have now found the right man and have stuck with him, this is his 3rd season, and that is showing dividend...

And he’s only 23!! Whilst he may always lack the pace of some, I’m sure he can and will still work on and improve the attacking side of his game. Maybe part of the ‘issue’ is that he plays the way he is asked to play. And he does that very well.

Re: Other European games - 05-07th April 2024

It’s funny. I feel the opposite about Leinster. Their lineout creaked at times, their scrum certainly did. Look, Tigers aren’t European contenders (yet). None of us thought so before the game and it came to pass, despite an encouraging performance from us. I think Leinster might struggle against a s...
