Re: Diamond leaves Sale! - Alex Sanderson takes over!
Good for him. Hope he does well (Sale are my ‘second’ team as my Dad used to play for them). Also good to see another Englishman taking the helm at a Premiership club. Here’s hoping one or two of them do well enough to take over the National side at some point in the future. That’s quite a team he’s...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope
Maybe post the whole thing instead of taking the headline. Henry out as Tigers keep Bonilla Longer Leicester Tigers are looking to extend the contract of Juan Diaz Bonilla even though it could cost them Zack Henry’s services. The Argentine International moved to Welford Road ahead of this season bu...

TRP reports that Bonilla had impressed so much we are looking to extent his contract which will mean Zach Henry is off.

Re: Saints v Tigers - 09th January 2021 - cancelled due to COVID
I for one would now like the authorities to ring fence the premiership. Its getting farcical. Its as others have stated a lottery. If teams are able to play under Covid , then at least we will see a game, it-keeps the players fresh and able to access and build for the future. Then the table is only...

Waldrom was a great carrier but Wiese seems to bring everything to the park, not just carries but his tackling and his ruck clearances.

Re: 3rd January 2021 v Bath
Weisse was a well deserved MOM. The best 8 we’ve seen at this club for years .. not dissimilar to Simmonds at Exeter steward was a close run thing and gets better every match .. in 2 years he is going to be stunning. Big, strong, powerful, skilful, great under the high ball .. a bit like a young Ga...

Just quoting what Nick Mullins said. I think they were generally referring to the ‘youngsters’, but I hadn’t bothered to work it out for myself.

Re: 3rd January 2021 v Bath
Henderson did really well but his misdemeanour knocking the ball away that led to the Bath try is unforgivable especially when you have worked so hard all game. It is entirely forgivable. He’s one of the young players who you rightly complement and he was by far not the only one who made mistakes. ...

Yes, I expect a certain young Mr White may be a tad worried.longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 5:31 pmJust to add, I thought that JvP did really well when he came on. His delivery and speed of delivery were both excellent and his speed to the base was really good too.

Re: 3rd January 2021 v Bath
Great to see Dallaglio having to eat humble pie on BT Sport. Vociferous in his criticism of our kicking game tactic at half time. Much as I dislike it when it’s done badly (kicking) I thought he was a touch too aggressive in his opinion, albeit true to form when commenting onTigers. He was almost ch...

Re: Non playing staff interfering with play
It was gamesmanship and no different to players on the pitch hanging onto the ball when the opposition wants to take a quick throw in or pen (and so does squint put-ins at the scrum, not playing the ball when the ref calls ‘use it’, non-playing players being in the in goal area to ‘greet’ their own ...
