Re: Tigers in turmoil article

Yeah RC has done well up there............. Half the Scotland squad in there really helps on that front along with some good mercs. Give Tigers half the England squad and I'm sure MoC would have a much better time. Lets be honest the Rot set in before Deano was booted out and the same rot that was c...

Re: Why not us?

Due to the way the club is run (not the board) as in the fans own shares means no option for rich backers also lower chance of investment in general. To cut to the main point we just don't have the cash coming in to get the guys in. We also have an poor squad and MOC is getting hung out to dry by th...

Re: Kitch injury

To be fair the Line-out has slipped in form since Parling left so it does make me ask how good the guys really are. the good years Cockerill had at Tigers seemed to be with a real quality squad and as those great players either retired of left the downward slide started, was this down to the players...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2017/18 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread!

I would be tempted to start playing Holmes on the wing and move Malouf into 13, maybe look at another 15 as we are a bit thin there. TV is good going forward but a bit light in defence and I don't see him lasting all season with out a knock or two and to be fair this only really leaves us with Tait ...

Re: Blaze gone

I am really not sure if the 1st choice guys are really up to it. Barrow seems great around the park but not so good in the tight and I really don't understand why we let Slater go but kept Kitch as he really didn't cut it last term and again it looks the same, to lightweight and never seems switched...

Re: Haskell / Marler

Looks like those of us who viewed it a both yellow called it right by the rules.

at the end of the day rules are rules even if you don't like the players in the firing line.

Re: Haskell / Marler

For me it should have been Yellow for both, Ref seemed to be a little out of his depth at times. Yes Haskell was wrong to go at him again but Marler should have been binned for the pull on the head guard, think he has done this to Ayerza before. I was also very disappointed with Ugo and his really b...

I know its still early and its just one loss but man that's a big one to lose, home soil lose to Benetton. Seems a mixed bag so far wins over Cardiff and Dragons isn't really much bragging rights as such but this lose is a big dent, hope things improve for him but I still worry he is too stuck in hi...

Re: Who is out there and available?

I know they might not reach the class we all want but Western Force have a couple of young ish (23) centres who might be worth a go or we could maybe pick up Dane Haylett-Petty from there as a 15 to give us more cover to use Smith and Tait in the centre also he can cover wing so i'm not sure if any ...

Re: Come off if injured.

If you watched the game and also took on board the comments from Oz and Ben Kay post game (if you watched on telly) the issues with the line-out was far more if not almost all down to very poor 2nd row play, a lot of comments about "2nd rows just flapping at the ball rather than catching it&quo...

Re: Tigers v Bath

Centre is a bit of a worry with Manu's track record and Smith and Tait are not getting any younger and didn't have their best season last term. I am also very twitchy about 15 as TV is great going forward but can be very hit and miss at best in defence, Tait seems to struggle there now for pace and ...

Re: Allez Les Pink

It was a good game and hats off to Stade but I do feel Lacey was very very poor as was the rest of the officials.

Some very poor reffing from him again, don't think it would have made too much of difference but how does he get big games still??

Could have been South Africa and Wales so I don't see much issue with the draw.

As we are looking for a back-up 10 that can kick and he is leaving Ulster maybe worth a look? Yes he is 33 now but with that in mind he may not command the size wage he once did but he gives us a 9/10/11/14/15 that can place kick and can offer the team so much on and off the pitch. I know we have Fo...
