Re: Youngs injured in pub brawl

I suggest people actually read the article before commenting, the version I read stated that a Tiger's player (Bateman) was punched and that no Tigers player retaliated, it also said that glasses were thrown but not that it was our boys doing the throwing. I copy and paste from the version that was...

Re: Youngs injured in pub brawl

You make a valid point and I’m sure any responsible employer would investigate and take any necessary action. My point is that this thing has been going on since the dawn of time, what has changed is the impact of social media and the speed these imho non stories are spread. Also when are you off d...

Re: Youngs injured in pub brawl

You are saying this is bad publicity I’m saying that if they still used newspapers this would be fish and chip wrappers tomorrow. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but some are ready to jump on the bandwagon of what a mess we’re in at the slightest provocation I am saying it’s bad publicity...

Re: Youngs injured in pub brawl

Agree you should defend yourself but they shouldn't have put there selves in that position in the first place. If it was another premier team in that position many posters on this board would be very critical of them. You remind me of another poster, who was just saying that Saracens had nothing to...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

The news is very quiet on the western front regarding the sale, will it actually come off, god forbid does Brexit have anything to do with it?! Tigers PLC is presumably a relatively steady investment over the next ten years whereas no one knows what the likely effects of this Brexit “will they/won’...

Re: England v Ireland

England have always looked best with Ford and Farrell in tandem. That is true, but bizarrely Ben Ryan on the Brian Moore show said that England wouldn’t win the World Cup with Ford at 10. I quite like Bryan Moore but he is a limited interviewer, and never asked Ryan to justify or explain his reason...

Re: Wade makes an impact on 1st game

US tv should pick him up as a tv rugby pundit especially for World Cup. He needs someone helping him build his brand. A great back story.

Re: Wales 1st in the World?

Close match. England dominated at start but it felt like the midfield hardly knew each other. No one was running any lines. Hopefully Jones is saving tactics until the actual World Cup. Positives: I thought Piers Francis played well to be fair. Cole was immense. George was a class above LCD Ludlum a...

Re: England WC squad

I hope Genge's selection has taken that state school chip off his shoulder. Would he have made a World Cup selection earlier if he had gone to a public school? I think Not. Dan Cole has made it, I don't believe Eddie dropped him, he told him to go back to the club and get as much rest as he could a...

Re: Kiwi hypocrites strike again!

I don't know how long you have been watching the haka but 20 years ago it was no more than a Morris dance. Check out some old videos, it's farcical. Contrived, maybe but at least it is now performed with some authenticity and passion. As to facing it out, get stuck in, it's a challenge so no holds ...

Re: 'Flexible' pricing

How can flexible pricing be fair to season ticket holders, is it discriminatory against those who are? I think flexible pricing can make sense. If done properly it shouldn’t discriminate against season ticket holders. Trouble is though, we live in a world where someone will sell you a solution desi...

Re: How to solve South Africa’s player exodus?

How many players are at Tigers under Kolpak? Any idea what happens post October 31? There was an article in the Torygraph earlier this year that indicates kolpak players would be allowed to remain till the end of the season, but then would count as foreign players. Sorry that was with a no deal Bre...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Go on, I’ll say it. It’s in Sarries interest to keep the cap. Even if they are forced to stick to it.
