Re: Exeter Chiefs

If you scrutinise my DNA closely enough I'm sure I belong to multiple ethnic groups, possibly even American Indian although probably less than 3%. You may be more closely related than you think. I am sure I recall reading about some genetic studies that found common Y chromosomes in Wales and North...

Re: Manu Tuilagi

TRP suggesting Manu gave Tigers one last chance to re-consider. Thankfully he was told no.

Re: Manu Tuilagi

Funny how absence elevates some players from capable to lost superstar. Slater being an example. An OK second row but let’s not kid ourselves he is/was more than a bottom half of the division lock. Not a Launchbury, Itoje, Lawes or in reality near international selection. Gloucester rate him but ou...

Re: Bristol splashing cash - new training facility

I think Bristol play exciting rugby and are definitely worth watching, but any team with a small squad may struggle with 9 premiership games in 6 weeks. For Tigers I think this is a bonus. Borthwick and his coaches have a great opportunity as they will be forced to rotate the team for the three midw...

Re: Manu Tuilagi

I’m with everyone else - bored of the Manu situation. He was gone in 12 months anyhow so I would have thought that the Tigers coaching team were already planning for life without Manu - we may need to find a stopgap for 12 months or look to accelerate those plans.......on the bright side it might a...

Re: Manu Tuilagi

I believe the five were sent home, training ceased so they could reflect and access their futures. So if I'm right deadline day was July 1st ,therefore we can assume that an olive branch has been offered for those undecided. Monday being the extended deadline. GM on LTTV - two players off to France...

Harlequins have confirmed the 18 players that are leaving the club, Ibitoye is not one of them.
Wow. I’d seen a few but 18? What is going on?

Re: Steve Borthwick

I think the mood has lifted and there is even a bit of optimism in some quarters regarding the coaching set up. I remember when Mark Bakewell was appointed as the forwards coach a certain Steve Borthwick was quoted as saying "He is the best forwards coach i have ever worked with". Given that, its p...

Re: Steve Borthwick

Let’s wait and see if there is any improvement in our results with Borthwicks training, hopefully the only way is up after the last couple of years of Murphys tenure. Just to be fair, is it accurate to say Murphy’s tenure is two years? He was promoted up at short notice to start as head coach In Se...

Re: Simon Cohen leaves with immediate effect

So according to some on here he has finally got all the ducks in a row and the departs with immediate effect, whereas you’d expect 3 months notice in that position. Fire no smoke without or words to that effect You sometimes see CEOs give a year or more notice, and an immediate departure might be c...

Re: How Many Premiership Clubs Can Survive This?

...if the Club can come up with innovative ways in which to attract additional income – the sale of a virtual season ticket – perhaps. I would put my money where my mouth is. They need to be innovative, but many of us have been dismissive of ‘sugar daddy’ clubs. Now is the time to prove that we are...
