See that Wade is being linked to Exeter with them losing O'Flaherty
To me he doesn't really seem like he fits Exeter's style of play for wingers, if Bristol had any money left I would have said that would be one of the better fits for him.

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Saturday 07th May 2022 - 5-30pm KO

Given the budget would have to be cut at least in half if not a third given some of the talk and would then have to compete in 3 competitions not just two, it is silly to think that any teams either be it in the URC or the Top 14 would dominate in the prem playing by the same rules. Also why should ...

If I remember rightly, Rugby League clubs were limited to 50% on the Clubs income to be used for players salaries......a cap in the sense that also protected a club from going out of business.
Was this before or after Bradford had their issues?

Re: Premier league final day.

Perhaps some sort of soft cap might work like what is used in NBA and MLB, where there is a soft cap limit but you can spend over the cap if you want to but will pay what they call a luxury tax, which is where the team will pay the league a scaling amount depending on how far they go over the cap. T...

Re: Other Weekend Games - 20th to 22nd May 2022

I have faith Tigers can win but also know, as last season and other seasons have shown, any team in the semi final can win. League form means nothing in ko rugby. What Sarries did well yesterday was take 3 points when offered almost as if they were getting ready for the semi finals. It’s still one ...

Nice try, the score line flatters Saints but it will be a great Semi if we end up playing them.

Don't think we can hold our breath about Sarries not getting the TBP, Saints seem to have gone soft.

Genge potential try ruled out for no sight of grounding.. seems harsh that they get the drop out!
This is the one new rule that I don't think they have got quite right, I know we have benefitted from it a few times this season but it does not really seem fair on the attacking team.

Re: Congratulations Tommy Reffell

Ok thanks for the clarification, unfortunately for every LRZ there is a Jonah Holmes, and there is a lot more competition at 7. That's why I think we have a genuine chance at getting an extension out of him. That way he can see where he is for a few seasons, possibly see how much he's being called ...

Reffell confirmed in the Wales squad to tour South Africa.

If we want him to extend we have to do it quick...

Given this news I wouldn't be holding my breath that he resigns here unfortunately.

Re: EPCR Semi finals

From Stuart Barnes, today, Mon 16th May: "Make no mistake, they (Leinster) are Ireland in all but name and Ireland are without doubt one of the best four teams on the planet. In retrospect, Leicester Tigers produced a magnificent effort to lose by only nine points in the quarter final. Toulous...

There was a pretty funny incident this year with a Dominican baseball player who had a motor cycle accident before the season and injured himself which meant he would miss the start of the season, he was questioned about it by a reporter who asked when the incident occurred to which he replied "...

Are we all La Rochelle fans now then?
They were my pick to win it all at the start of the knock out games, it will be tough as today's performance wasn't great and that 10 min period with 2 yellows was an extremely poor period for them.

Will this cause issues as the hooker and a prop are on yellows.
If they call a scrum they can bring a prop and hooker back on
Yeah but it will leave them light elsewhere
