Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

My issue around the 'oversight' thing is that if this really was a legitamate business investment (to them) that they believe it was absolutely above board, they would have disclosed it in its totality as and when it happened, as there is no reason not to. The reality is it took the Daily Mail actua...

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

The scrum was poor all game to me, which was a shame as everything else was pretty spot on. Liebenberg and Green both looked handy, and Reid is already an obvious upgrade on Joe Ford as the swing/backup fly half (bar the duff kickoff). It does worry how reliant we are on Thompson to turn the ball ov...

Re: Are neutral venues required

No, both Exeter and Saracens deserved the home advantage as they finished higher in the league than Gloucester and Saints. The latter two should have been more competitive during the season.

Probably an easier sell teaming up with the Royal, and guaranteed income Mon-Fri as its permit based. Can't look any worse than the dumping ground thats there at the minute I guess...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

Cohen strongly intimated on Andy Goode's Rugby Pod interview that it was the 'rugby subcomittee' of the BoD that shoulders the burden for the carousel of coaches in the last few seasons, and that Kay & Underwood were the main culprits - he also suggested they intend to bring more directors of non-ru...

Re: Quins vs Tigers

Re: Tigers v Chiefs

Great finish to the half finally showing a bit of grit and desire, but Manu in particular really needs to get his :censored: together defensively, he's leaving holes all over the place.

Re: 5 games to pull that rabbit out of the hat!

Happy clapper in me says 4 points v Exeter, a low scoring bore fest 5 points v Falcons, we invariably do well on their carpet 5 points v Brizzle, on the right side of an 80 point thriller 2 points v Quins, 1 tbp and 1 lbs 4 points v Barf, last game for a few at Welford road I'm not sure taking that...

Any news of an emergency board meeting around? Surely there has to be one!

Re: Relegation / How to avoid Relegation?

If we get relegated we will have deserved it. You shouldn't be able to run a rugby club like this and expect to have no repercussions.
