Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 2

I think for the 75% counting towards the future cap the contracts already need to be signed (think about 18th June). The caps coming down in a year, there's going to be a much reduced income before then. Who knows when full attendance will be allowed, it would not surprise me if that was still a lon...

Re: RFU To Review The Use of 'Swing Low,Sweet Chariot' ; Connotations of Slavery ?

Absolute ridiculous! Politics only leads to tears but does everyone know when the last big BLM spike was? 2016. And now another one exactly 4 years later, what's happening in America this year? I'll say no more. I will also say SkySports actions during their reintroduction of football have been noth...

Just been looking into passes and sky do their own sports mobile pass for £5.99 a month. Then can probably cast to tv from your phone.
I remember being told by someone sky make casting from your phone not possible so not sure it's guaranteed.

Fissler suggesting Harry Potter a done deal as well as a major academy overhaul https://www.therugbypaper.co.uk/latest-news/36769/leicester-tigers-to-follow-up-new-signing-with-major-overhaul-of-academy/ Good news that HP is looking like a done deal, and that GG is likely to be going. I am now quit...

Doesn't look like players will return to training before July. Not sure how scrapping 6 rounds of the season would work, all looking more likely to cancel this season imo.

Aled Walters leaving the boks "for a UK club" - now he would be a good addition to the coaching set up.
Well spotted - and he'd certainly be a good addition :smt023

Re: Provisional Premiership Return Date ?

I just can't see how this season can be completed and next season not over run. I understand the clubs are in perilous financial positions so need the income but it doesn't look possible. I'm guessing they want the govt to call things off. To me they should just write off this seasons prem, euro com...

Re: NZ Only Super Rugby in the works

Yet to have a government approved start date, but a continuation of Super Rugby with just the 5 Kiwi franchises will hopefully happen soon, they have had the coronavirus quite a bit less severe so are coming out of lockdown a lot quicker. 7 Plan is to have no finals but just a FPTP system. FPTP?? F...

Re: Exeter Chiefs - 21 March at Sandy Park

Has anyone seen any confirmation about the England players for this weekend?

I assume they'll be made available so they could be called up for final game against Italy which will probably end up being outside of an international window.
