Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

Wooohhhooo!! :smt026

That was far better, especially in the first half. Although we were helped a lot by Bristol having two yellow cards and Afoa getting injured.

That has brightened my day! Thanks Sam, we'll miss you!

Re: Tigers v Calvisano - Teams up!

A very strong side. We really should be winning comfortably.
Does anybody know anything about why Cameron Jordan isn't in the squad? Given that we only have 1 lock playing it seems odd to leave him out unless he's injured.

Re: Tigers v Calvisano

Wells is banned for two weeks. Given Lavanini is on holiday and Spencer is injured that means that those young locks Jordan and Martin in line to play a lot against them over the next two weeks

Re: Tigers v Calvisano

I don't see these games as that important really. We showed that by thrashing Pau to build confidence, which didn't translate to the Northampton match. I don't think that beating a team a lot worse than you builds confidence honestly. Over the next two games I'd employ a fair amount of rotation. I t...

Tigers can rest players later when we’ve won the next 5 games.
That's what we did against Pau. Didn't seem to matter much against Saints.

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

I watched the game on TV but didn’t see the end of the programme as family called in. Was Murphy interviewed and if he was what did he say. From the BBC: Leicester head coach Geordan Murphy told BBC Radio Leicester: "Incredibly disappointed is the way I would describe that performance and the ...

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

But it's not your club? This is the bit that hurts an old exile more than anything. Why do I support Tigers? Because they are my hometown club and that club was full of local, or at least English talent. What allegiance can I hold to a bunch of vagabond players from around the world brought in to r...

Re: Tigers v Pau Saturday Nov 16th

Very much feels like being between a rock and a hard place. To rest key players so that they are fit and fresh for the premiership. Or to play a strong team to try and build confidence and integrate the internationals. We'll probably end up doing something between the two. Either way we really need ...
