Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4
Sorry guys, having read all of this. I realise now how wrong I am. The team is fine, the coaching has just been a tad iffy, the CEO is doing a cracking job. Glynn has cracked the academy. The Board have shown great insight in their recruitment and retention of DORs / Head Coach. The recruitment pol...

We wouldn’t be doing too badly by signing the three Du Preez brothers. Robert can cover fly half with the other two playing backrow or lock. All three good quality rugby players with international experience. This rumour has been regurgitated by Big Jim on the Rugby Pod too. Maybe something in it.

Re: The next New Head Coach / DOR?
Cockerill ? Johnson ? Rowntree ? ..and all of the other ex Tigers. REALLY ????!!!!! Lets just thank them for their service and move away from this model shall we? We need outside influences on this club (not just the team). We always jump back to what we know, which clearly doesn't work anymore. For...

Re: Paddy Jackson
It would be worth signing one of them just to see if those sitting atop Mount Pious follow through with their threats to 'never support the club again'. I would suggest it is all virtue signalling bluster. Maybe we should all make our personal messaging accounts public and see how many people take o...

Re: Season ticket renewals - or not ...?
We won't be renewing this year, mainly due to the rearranged kick off times/days meaning we can't get the train to and/or from the game (we live in the county). Driving into the city, fighting to park and fighting to get out is not the way to spend a Sunday in our book. We fully understand the need ...

This must be the ultimate troll topic. Even for this forum the topic is astonishing.
It's no wonder people avoid commenting on this forum.
........and yes I see the irony in me commenting.

Re: Manu sent home
Before this thread gets any worse is it at all possible that some on here could wait until the club has spoken to Manu on his return & they make a judgement on the issue, Rather than some on here vilifying the man when we know nothing. That's way too sensible!!! Why wait for the facts when you ...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2017/18 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread!
Let's go best XV then Genge Young's Cole Barrow Kitchener Fitzgerald BOC Kalamafoni Youngs Ford May Toomua Tuilagi Thompstone Veainu I'd personally make a couple of changes but just about spot on. I'd have Evans at 7 with BOC on the bench, also Williams at 6 is a must for me. Whatever happens, a fu...

'Team culture issues' apparently.
Manu has obviously cleared him up.
Prefer to have him here anyway.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2017/18 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread!
On paper last season we had: Youngs Burns JPP Toomua Tuilagi Thompstone Veainu Which I'd say is different, but on par with our "on paper" this season. And we all know how that turned out... I'm interested to see who starts at 10 for pre-season games. Ford and May are significant upgrades ...

Re: Watching Rugby in Rome
Not been to Rome, but elsewhere in Italy we usually try to find an "Irish" bar where they usually show rugby matches, but as for the BaaBaas, will they be showing a game that is only usually for the Brits, don't think they have picked any Italians have they, so unlikely any interest? You ...
