Re: Munster v Leicester, Thomond Park

3 of us going from B'ham on Friday. Any idea where best to watch saints v Leinster on Friday night in Limerick? That would depend on where you are you staying? Are you on the 16.55 to Shannon? Yes we are. I'm on that flight. With the time you will get to Limerick somewhere close to your hotel would...

Re: Munster Away

Hopefully to allay anyone else's concerns. We are booked into this hotel for the game. I just rang them direct and was told there was a small fire last friday to the exterior of the building. It was quickly dealt with and they were back operating as normal on Saturday. That's good to hear, reading ...

Re: Munster Away

If the feedback I am getting from friends in Limerick is correct, it would appear that initial media reports on the fire were somewhat alarmist. I would still give them a ring however as I don't no how much smoke damage there is.

Re: Munster Away

If anyone on here has booked to stay at the Limerick City hotel (Formerly Jurys) on Lower Mallow street it was badly damaged in a fire over the weekend. From the pictures I've seen it will take some going for it to be ready to take in guests this side of Xmas. If you know of someone traveling please...

Re: Munster away

Another option could be to contact John ( johnthegriff ) who runs the supporters trips. I know he has booked rooms in a hotel in limerick but I don't know which one. With it being your 1st Euro trip you would be amongst seasoned travellers and well looked after I guess. I expect our party will run i...

Re: Munster away

We are a group of 4 season ticket holders looking to go to Munster away. Before booking flights and accommodation I just wanted some advice on whether there may be a potential problem getting tickets for the match as we have never travelled to an away European match. Clearly I dont want to be in th...

Re: Munster Away

I better make sure I head off to the right airport for each flight. :smt043 Good idea. :smt002 Don't forget that young couple who flew out of Heathrow on what they thought was a great deal for a winter break in Australia. See http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/2172858.stm Evidently, they were not the on...
