Re: England v Wales

I'm the ticket sec for my local club and we were told we could have as many tickets as we wanted. I have 26 members all heading to the game and all bar 4 are bringing their kids with them. So it appears to be reasonably popular for a "nothing game".

Re: Advice on Paris

Apologies for derailing the thread with advice :smt003

I normally use the Ibis here 5 Rue Caulaincourt, 75018 Paris, France

Paris hotels rooms are normally overpriced rubbish. I figure I may as well just get el cheapo. At least you know what you're getting.

Re: Blame the RFU and Squeaky

If (when, at this rate) England fail to win the WC, the blame will lie firmly with the RFU. Unlike some other posters on here, I believe we have the players, we lack the coaches Private schoolboy selections dominating the youth game and high level coaches favouring their own players in the club gam...

Just keep reminding them that its no longer Ravenhill - its Kingspan. That should distract them from playing!! :smt003

Re: Heineken Cup

Fair play JFJ. I too was in Cardiff for that Munster game and the atmosphere was amazing. Myself and a group of friends have been to every final since. Sometimes I get lucky and we see a Tigers final but mostly not. Hopefully, Heineken will keep their sponsorship deal and the competition will contin...

After doing that job on Cipriani, I fully expect water to be turned into wine, 5000 people to be fed with minimal ingredients, world peace, a cure for cancer and a solution for the global warming problem.

Re: Well done Newbury RUFC

At half time in the Eng v Wales 6N game, the TV people interviewed Joey Barton and asked what he thought of his first rugby game. He said it was a little surreal. Everyone was walking around with pints, everyone was respectful and nobody was chanting abuse at the players or match officials. A fair s...
