Re: Non-England World cup thread 2019
Apparently the SRU is to take legal action against RWC for allowing the game to go ahead

Re: What do you want on match day?
Just returned from holiday in Australia so fortunately missed the wedding. I did go to watch Tigers (Richmond) beat the Blues (Cartlon) in an Aussie Rules league game. It was a local derby played at Melbourne Cricket Ground, the crowd was 85,016 and Tigers won 97-64. At half-time the pitch was cover...

Re: Next Season!
I normally book hotels as soon as they are announced.
Last year I booked on 22 Aug and the year before 25 Aug.
So about 3rd week in August seems about right

Re: Heineken cup draw
Really? With Scarlets and R92? Not for me. We are playing for 3rd with Ulster. As Lawrence said to the fictitious Sherif Ali 'Nothing is written!" The Scarlets and R92 while showing good form last season are very beatable so I see no reason why the Tigers cannot top the pool? Very profound of ...

Re: CONGRATULATIONS (to other teams)
Well done Munster but definitely had the rub of the green with Zebo. Be interesting to know what Owens thought he was legally trying to accomplish with just one hand?? Is there a ref in the game who would have made a gutsy penalty try and yellow card 3mins into the game with that Munster crowd. Conw...

Re: Absolutely Worthless Cup
As one who went to Castres, yes I was disappointed but not as disappointed as I would have been if Manu or Toomua had played and picked up an injury in a game that means very little, just as I would be if they picked up an injury this Sunday so I hope they don't play this week either. Our priority f...

Re: Australia in crisis?
Just arrived back from Oz yesterday and whilst it is true that the ARU is in crisis Old Hob is jumping the gun with the Western Force. The ARU unusually is keeping a tight lip for an organisation that normally leaks like a sieve. There have been 3 clubs "rumoured" to be in danger of disenf...

Splendid idea about the scarves. They may be on sale in Paris anyhow. At Toulon I remember seeing French outlets selling half and half Tigers Toulon scarves. My wife and I will wear pink ribbons in any case.

Re: Toulon-Leicester
If anyone is a shadow of their former selves it's us now that MOC has departed.
I thought that was a real gutsy performance by Leinster and would have been proud had our boys turned in a display like that.
Let's wait until we have made the last 4 before we start casting stones.

Re: Today's game v Newcastle
A couple of questions about the game. Did anyone note the penalty count in the first half? It seemed the Ref was very lenient with Falcons. I thought the count was very much against them and a yellow would not have been out of place. If Deano thought his team was the wrong side of the Ref then he mi...

Re: 49-6 Respect is due
Credit is due as well Steve Borthwick might drive us mad when we are playing them when he is endlessly advising the ref but the ref cam shows he listens as well. I thought he had a great game yesterday, he was giving his guys grief when the penalty count was threatening to get out of hand. I hope he...
