Re: Edinburgh match.
Personally the club have messed up here; maybe not the decision but the way it has been handled. The explanation on Chris's email was logical but the communication needed to be done ages earlier. It really does look like the club is taking the paying punters for granted IMO. When you consider the va...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester (H) - Christmas Eve 2022 - KO 15:00
I do believe that this, on Xmas eve, is only the second home prem game this Season with our England players?? And now we get the players available we've lost the senior two of the coaching team. That date at HQ back in June seems a lifetime ago. I may have missed it but I'd expect some comments from...

Re: Semi final v Saints - 11th June 2022 KO 4-30pm
I'm looking forward to reading about a game I will barely recognise in The Sunday Times's report tomorrow........ Meanwhile the referee had blown for half time before any chat about Porter's card. I didn't think they could go back after the final whistle, half time whistle or conversation (in case o...

Re: Covid passports to be required?
That was exactly the point I was making - they are not meaningless as you originally said; they help, but they are easily circumnavigated which is a problem.

Re: Covid passports to be required?
Well they are not "meaningless" as a majority (I won't say vast majority) will comply and that will help but you are right they are easily circumnavigated by those who don't give a damn.

I would be very interested to know how Murphy and Borthwick split the work load, who is in charge of the tactics, the match day decisions, the selection.
Does anyone on here actually know?

Re: Annoyance over forward passes
The ball may be thrown in straight at the line out, but if it is straight over the heads of the players in the thrower's team then the defending team can't compete - so they don't compete and line outs are effectively unopposed. throw it down the gap.

100 seconds to go we need a score so we box kick and don't touch the ball again. Ingenious!

Personally I would try passing the ball to May in space as a new and previously untried tactic.

Re: Ulster v Tigers
It's my town, it's my team. Please, someone, get us back to where we once were. I don't mean winning everything in sight. Just competing with a team playing as a team. I know it shouldn't matter. It's only a game. But there's a proud heritage that goes with putting that shirt on and a Tigers perfor...

Just wish we had some honesty from the club.
