Re: Borthwick

In his day he was a big bruiser, a no nonsense player. He was Barffs equivalent to Martin Johnno ( Poorer version) Inspired a team and took no prisoners. Sarries benefited from his seasons with them. Might be just the influence needed in the coaching set up. Unproven yes but brings fresh eyes. And a...

Re: Saracens are relegated!

Mc Call openly stating that they will carry on until the end of the season then have a clear out( Paraphrasing) So I take that to read as - Were carrying on despite being in breach - we've accepted the punishment - we'll continue to breach this season- you can't do any more to us - so two fingers to...

Re: Borthwick

Is the Panto season is still with us - A November start for Mr Borthwick would be the start of the next Panto season. Ambiguity and rumour rife "Will he - won't he ...... Is he - isn't he....... After 6N -June - November" Oh yes he is Oh no he isn't" And all this talk is like the coming of the Massi...

Re: What Now For Our Season?

Don't let this reprieve get into the squads head. Foot on the gas - go full out and move up the PL table on our own merit. Any thing else and we'll be criticised by all and sundry It will be as though - "Tigers should have been relegated as they were the poorest playing team in the PL" I for one wou...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

I detest the idea of ring fencing. What incentive is there for Championship sides to advance or poor performing clubs to dig themselves from relegation. On the past two seasons Tigers could have found themselves rooted with no incentive to play. Does this scenario help advance the club. And there was...

Playing man in the sin bin against 16.

The sharpest thing about Sir is his haircut.
Agree P poor refereeing.
4 x over white wash justifiably two dis allowed

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

So.. Championship Rugby has no ceiling cap? Is this true? If so what incentive is there for players to leave the club immediately. Effectively see out this season- take the drop and take time to secure employment elsewhere. Play for England, take the wage. Meanwhile Sarries build on their already in...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

The thing being - Continuing to breach the cap this season.
Being selective with game day squad doesn't negate the fact they are breaching this season.
Either a flagrant disregard, attempting to cicumnavigate rules or Ostrich mentality.

I feel for the fans -

Re: Are we in the worst league?

Missing the point...... Teams are now able to compete for top players. So they are scattered amongst all Prem Clubs. Therefore able to compete in all areas So every team can beat anyone on a given day. I agree that its a lottery what Sir is going to allow and Sirs inconsistency from game to game has...

Re: Johnny May

Seeing Olowfela develope and the running of TV and JM this weekend. I was inspired . Therefore I would keep JM as this partnership was our break through moment. I also worry that MT is injury prone and with the contract fee, I worry that we will he won't offer as much. Predictable battering ram (alt...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

For me Bristol played on the edge of legality at times.JPD allowed the game to flow rightly or wrongly. So at times they got away with it -At times there were sanctioned. They need to cut out their indiscipline. Likewise Harlequeens self destructed through ill discipline. On the whole we have attemp...

Re: Exeter Chiefs 21st December

Some cannot do any wrong. Some cannot take criticism. Some have opinions that they see are the ones being right. Some are happy with the current form of the club. Some are happy with what the coaches and BOD are trying to achieve. Some will be happy at watching Tigers in the Championship. Some are n...

Murph's "Pressure ..what pressure thats for tyres"

So its not pressure that forced him to react with a supporter.
Love to know how that conversation / altercation went.
