Re: Tigers v Chiefs

Wasn't it stated "We look forward to the Exeter game to see where we are"
I therefore expect to see a (as near as) full strength team going full bore.
If this is the case and errors are cut out, I could (almost) forget the blip against LI.

Either way a " L " is inevitable. Question is by how much?

Re: Role of the TMO

The thing is , we've has two to three seasons of TMO involvement. Are we really saying we are getting it right. Its as though many refs cannot make a decision or are not strong enough to stand by their convictions. What do we get , more screen watching and still indecision, a debate. Teams begging t...

Re: Role of the TMO

My pet hate at present..... No attempt to tackle with wrapped arms on the 5m or try line.Players just dive in.Likely to cause head on head or serious neck injury. In an era of"We need to protect players and Player welfare"Similarly at the breakdown. How many players clear out by just charging in - n...

Re: Tigers v Chiefs

Come on people. You know the song, We learn every game. We take what we learn and try to improve. I see great things from the squad on the training field. They are 100% committed to the club. We need to get better and that will come with time. We are aiming to get to the very top where we belong. We ...

Re: London Irish Away

Main problem at lineout and has been for some time is our captain. He does great things around the field and is 100% committed to the cause. Can he be relieved of his lineout duties for a utility player and still keep him on the field of play. Likewise if a number 10 has poor kicking form clubs pass...

Re: London Irish Away

How about a monetary penalty for players at Tigers for stupid penalties/ same penalty week in week out, until we get the message. Give it to a deserving Charity. I know in the heat of battle "muscle memory" takes over and we are overcome by desire. Jackling on knees or not supporting weight has been...

Re: London Irish Away

My Goldfish have more bite than the Tigers. Were not going to improve , nor get near to the top 6 by just trying (poorly by yesterdays performance) to front up in the pack and kick the ball back to the opposition. I do not like that with trying to find our DNA, we are mimicking Englands style of bor...

Re: London Irish Away

I see a game of fine margins. One missed tackle or two. A sloppy penalty or two. If we dominate the field position, Get the set piece right and take our chances , I see a back to back "W" Wouldn't that be something? Drop off tackles , aimless kicking and silly individual penalties and..................

Re: London Irish Away

Easy to see lessons learnt.
LI pack did a job on us last season. sizable pack in Tiger squad will negate a similar result.
Horses for courses and a depth of squad. We might be looking at back to back "W".

Re: Borthwick

We now have an era of transparency at the club. We are given updates and Bondi sources the information at all levels in LTTV.
So the media has effectively been made redundant.

Trust in the Dark Lord (SB) and keep ya bowels open.

We are told he has attention to detail. He will know his personnel to target a W.
I believe we will get a W. However more in the way of attack please. :smt023

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester - Teams Up

Well. Day one and the best start for a few seasons. Actually got points on the board and rather than loose them we played for more. Try bonus point and a W all in one game. I am not going to get carried away as we need to build. But the lads deserve to enjoy ,not only the W but in the way it was ach...

Re: A Proper Clear Out

Will Bt Sport still find GM and ask him how the game is going rather than asking the coach. Like any organisation "the ship can only have one"Captain". Its been intimated we have had two. We now know where the Buck stops, so the do players, supporters and the board. No tittailing back to the nice big...
