Possibly the question ought to be "Do we have a problem with Social Media"
Fans are a cross section of society and as we know the minority always spoil it for the silent majority.

Re: Has Rugby Got a Refereeing Problem?
Let the Sirs referee the game according to the rules. Each season we start with directives from on high about how interpretation of various rules can improve the game (invariably doesn't) only to be shelved half way into the season, and the blatantly obvious infringements are treated as an acceptabl...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021
I agree with starting White behind our best pack. Although TL has put in a shift or two I would also like to see a change. We seem over reliant on someone who is leaving at the end of the season. Blood someone now with TL benched. Like wise bring back 6N boys the cause is lost. I don't care if we ge...

Re: BRISTOL vs TIGERS - Sat 27 Feb 21 (1300)
Are we the finished article? No. Are we improving as a team? Is the 80 min performance improving? Is the defensive effort improving? Are we performing better than this time last season? For me Yes Yes Yes. Both teams yesterday were missing players and both teams put in a shift with fringe players. T...

Re: Away vs Quins Sat 13th Feb
As I've said before, Fine margins. With a tweak here and there we may start to get the results we are all looking for. Early days. Yes I agree we need a consistent back up 10. Did someone allude to F Burns recently? I agree some young uns in our team against a settled nearly rammed Queens team .I am...

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?
I think we should carry on with the build and gain momentum. Treat this season as any other competitive season. If not we are back to square one and starting from scratch. We have players out on loan to get experience and game time. Please lets not see this as a gimme season. Don't really care what ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back
Leic Mercury and SB saying more ins and outs season on season (paraphrasing). However he sees we'll be at the top in two years. Therefore I think he has a plan of who HE wants. So with COVID and budgets it would be wise to give our future players game time to develop. I am sure there is a clause tha...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021
Its obvious to me that EJ has his favourites.
Current club form counts for nowt, otherwise half the England team would have been representing their clubs this weekend.
Well done Scotland though.
So who should be next England coach - SB - Rob Baxter or AN OTHER?

Re: Tigers vs Worcester - Sat 06 Feb 1500
There's more positives with yesterdays performance. Were now seeing influential players standing up and making a difference. The defence without the ball was hellish better. You can only play the team in front f you and as we've seen any side can beat any other team. This does not take away the work...

Re: Progress Under Borthwick
Agree , progress will be slow. Incremental positives in the right direction. However stupid mindset at challenging everything at breakdown giving away penalties is killing us. Hope training is correcting this mindset. Glouc seam to be where we were two seasons ago so attention is on them. Attack coa...

Re: Sale game moved - Teams up
Just my opinion - teams that only defend and have no attack (varied attack ) do not win games. We seriously need a "World class" attack coach and quickly. We have the players to at least offer some attacking prowess. Kick chase works in the playground at school, it doesn't offer a threat in professi...

Re: Tomas Lavanini signs for Clermont
T.L is a seasoned international who played well for us. However he was a magnet for the refs and was often penalised.
I don't think that is the reason for his departure. I think an unsettled season, pay restraints and an end to his contract is the answer.
I wish him well for next season.
