Re: Joshua Manz

You can tell he played number 8 for England U19. Honestly if he doesn't lose speed, he could why find out Number 8 is his position going forward. My thing with the back row so far is only Carnduff is what I would call an out and out in his position. Ilione could be great in any position but it's har...

Re: Hanro on Englands Radar.

I feel that Henderson and Martin as a lock combo could be pretty amazing

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Threfall the fly half from Nottingham High School, Bronson Mellowes from South Leicester a prop & I didn't catch the third one. Did the 3rd look like a particular position body shape wise? Other player on the field was white, "medium" build so I would guess a flanker or centre tbh. Ge...

Yeah I think Dickens isn’t in the end of his contract period

Byrd also had a good 6N’s for Scotland at lock/6 but Scotland have a good record of poaching those type of players

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

There were 3 academy lads on the pitch at halftime being announced as signing contracts. Did anyone catch who they were? Threfall the fly half from Nottingham High School, Bronson Mellowes from South Leicester a prop & I didn't catch the third one. Did the 3rd look like a particular position bo...

Re: Challenge Cup Final: Gloucester v Sharks

Traveling to SA is the biggest cost.
I just hope we don't play Leinster next year regardless of the competition.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Just looked at his stats he’s tall for a loosehead. His best chance of quality game time next season will be to stay at Nottingham Same height as both Kiwi loosheads If he becomes as good as De Groot and Williams we’ll all be happy. Agree about the ball carrying also important to have a quality ben...

Re: Joshua Manz

Yes he was a standout in the prem cup before his injury.
Going to be quite hard finding places for these back rowers.

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

I think he was ever intended to be the starting 12 imo
Just with injuries it happened.

I feel he’s the ultimate impact player off the bench with 30 to go

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

JVP was prob the only subsistition i thought was poor call. Maybe also Kelly also since he was having a great game, but I see why he would have Scott left on. Cracknell for Reffell well I had issues with Cracknell on the bench more than anything else. Reality is Montoya, Cole, Reffell, JVP and Mart...

I don't get the caps lock.
It's not that unknown. Mark McCall is similar I believe.

Prob why he needs someone like Peter Hewat though.
