Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
Great win. I hope Jasper has his next deal signed as that may not be a short ban. No excuses as far as I can see. Says something when with that lead with 15 to go, I was still very nervous!

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter
I think it was on radio Leicester that someone said if you had to be short in one position, then wing was the preference. It looks to me like the lack of a second speedster has cost us 3 possible tries already. Just glad we have OHC and JVP!

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
Gutted, ... We apparently are spending up to the cap, have released a number of players mid season without replacements, have had a number of injuries in the same position, had a comparatively weak bench.....and couldn't hold on at the end. Surely we could have brought in someone on a short term dea...

Kicking the ball away with 14 men and 2 mins to go is idiotic at best

Positives for me are Carnduff, Reffell, Chessum, JVP, Wells, Montoya and to some extent Kelly and Weise. Some others very poor. Despite the score, I think with Martin, Reffell staying on and no cards, we could have nicked it. I really hope recruitment isn't done and we do get a quality attack coach....

Re: Leinster mind games begin? - Champions Cup (A) - Saturday 06th April 2024 - KO:8:00pm
It was always going to be tough but given Steward and Shilcock are starting to have Brown who is primarily a fullback on the bench suggests we don't really have any other backs left fit. I hate a 6 2 split but this could have been the game for it...if we have any forwards left. I just hope its a pre...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
If you pick a winger for his kicking rather than speed or ability, it says something about how we are going to play.... its almost like someone has forgotten we need to win with a BP to have any chance and would rather win the game 3 nil

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Champions Cup - Saturday 20th January 2024 - KO: 3-15pm
Having reflected, my issue with the referee wasn't just that many decisions went against us (at least 12 points worth were straight in front of us) but that a) if he is a rookie then why wasn't he given more experienced support b) Leinster would have known his failings from the league and c) we didn...

Anyone else thinking if we had gone full noise, we would have a really good chance here....even a reserve winger would have helped. Still there to win

Re: Tigers v Saracens (A) - Premiership - Saturday 4th November - KO:15-05
I am strangely not too unhappy with where we are. With better handling, key line-outs won and less bizarre tmo decisions that would have been very close.... plus Kata looked good and shillcock continues to impress. Only problem is the lack of games to go.....

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
I may regret saying this but apart from leaving out Arundel, I quite like the selection. We are underdogs and having a strong bench is key. If we are close with 20 to go, we have a chance. Plus Pollard, Youngs and Wiese should be ready to go after next weekend and Chessum hasn't played that many gam...

Why doesn't the captain calmly question the amount of Fiji forward passes ..?

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
I suspect with a short period in charge before the world cup Borthwick just went with what he knew. I'm not saying that is right. I really hope there is a clear out for the 6 nations. Put Kelly at 12, Lawrence 13, Murley and Arundel on the wings and you have a much more dynamic side whoever plays 10...

Do england finish top if Japan don't get a BP as no one else can get more than 14 points and if level it goes on head to head? I may well be wrong!

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
I agree with many that not having a quality goal kicker and the rub of the green on the refereeing decisions going against them cost south africa the game. However, does the game really matter for them. If the winner of the group would play anyone other than the all blacks or France then I suspect w...
