Re: Tigers v Sarries - Saturday 21st May at 12-30

Sorry to hijack the discussion, but I am slightly confused, according to the ticket office coach tickets are £20 but on the earlier thread John G said they were £17. Are the club marking up the prices?

Re: Tigers v Sarries - Saturday 21st May at 12-30

I have only been to Sarries ground once for a schools match and certainly would not recommend standing, it's in front of main stand, it's flat no banking, got running track between pitch and you, this is a semi final and will be well attended, hence if you are in the crowd I doubt whether you will ...

Re: Bath v Tigers 7th May

Nice place to go? the city? yes, the ground? small but great location, the "fans"? no way, a more unpleasant bunch you could never hope to meet! We vowed after the playoff last year that we will never go there again, I've never experienced abuse like I got there in all my years of travelli...

Re: Behaviour at Welford Road.

I have been a regular at WR since the late 70s (as a child) and a ST holder for many years. Funnily enough I do not wear replica shirts as they look absolutely ridiculous on adults. Apologies if that makes me any less of a supporter. I have to agree, it looks odd. Although you have to admit, its po...

Good God, are we really that blessed with good Hookers? I had some hope Jones might make some decent selections but this is farcical.

Re: Behaviour at Welford Road.

I think the main problem on Saturday was the number of part time rugby fans who were there ie football fans. There were considerably more people with no club colours/shirts etc than normal. Don't take this as me saying that casual fans shouldn't turn up, but they need to appreciate that we have a di...

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback - Season 2015/16

Suz, were you sat in the new stand? As a crumbie dweller we were not allowed to use the facilities in the new stand. A bit frustrating considering we can access all the other stands (ok final whistle is open to the public from outside but still). A bit frustrating as I used to be a regular in the Ca...

Re: Was it all bad yesterday?

I don't think it has been mentioned, and its not something RC and AM would admit to, but I am sure they have looked at the fixture list and decided which games are 'disposable' for want of a better word. Is it not a case of it being better to win the war than win the battle? it's fair to say, lookin...

I have recently revised my opinion of Barnes, I sincerely hope Wigglesworths ineptitude doesn't rub off on him! At least its not Gregory again! :smt035

Re: Eeyore

I had to speak to the stewards on the crumbie a couple of times on Sunday due to a gang of feral children causing grief and giving people abuse. At one point I had to speak to them myself as they began mocking two older ladies who had remonstrated with them about their behaviour. They were about 13 ...

I agree with the sentiment, however I fear it would make us look like wendyball fans. common sense must prevail, Lancasters position is untenable.

Re: Barf v Tigers - Payback Time?

[quote="Soggypitch"]I wasn't impressed with Loamanu on Saturday.

Really? I thought he was immense, tackled anything that moved and generally caused a nuisance of himself. I thought he was one of the MOTM contenders along with Kitch and Cole.

I'm surprised Sio has been called up as he has a nasty hamstring strain.

Tom Bristow is off to Wasps. Shame as he always looked good when I saw him and I think he could become superb.

Peter Betham

Another two this morning, looks excellent, very rapid, good lines and plenty of strength for his second try. Hope we officially announce his signing soon.

Edit

Also great to see Dan Bowden with a tigers gumshield this morning! (pity his kicking is off!)
