Re: Wales slide further down slippery slope.

Deadline looms for Anglo-Welsh league plan by Peter Jackson "‘the nuclear option’ – English clubs and Welsh regions launching an outlawed competition in defiance of their Unions." http://www.therugbypaper.co.uk/domes...h-league-plan/ Just wondering how this possibility sits with you chaps?...

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution (2)

I can but assume that the RFU will represent the PRL, because the PRL are not part of the 6N committee. EDU will represent PRL in matters of Governance. But not commercial interests. If you assume that you better also assume that there will be no English (or French) Clubs in the competition. I thin...

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution (2)

Well it appears that the end is in sight. A 6N run tournament looks to be on the cards. One is left wondering why the PRL will accept the 6N running the tournament? The clubs will have no say at all in the running of this competition. :smt017 Rather than accept the ERC tournament there will be an E...

Re: Well done to Ulster!

great match well done to both teams ..nice to see no whinging about the ref ..both teams knew what you get with owens.. I agree Stonebob. The result was nothing to do with the Referee. I like Owens' he has a good rapport with the players and I liked his comment to a raucous Anthony Allen. " Th...

Re: Well done to Ulster!

Was a great match and what I’ve heard from guys who were lucky enough to be over at the game it was a great occasion. Nice to see the old fashioned tradition of silence for the kicker observed. Cockers showed some class in defeat too. Your guys who were over did you proud! I sat with three of them,...

Re: Tigers vs Ulster - Teams up!!

As an Ulsterman I'll tell you this. Leicester is and always will be the no.1 club in England. Real rugby club unlike buy-a-team Sorries. Cockerill was quality after the match.

Re: Tigers vs Ulster - Teams up!!

I think losing Tait was a key moment. He is a very underrated in England since he burst on the scene as a, well he was a child when he played against Wales.

Re: Tigers vs Ulster - Teams up!!

Very even game IMO which Ulster got on the nod. Flood made one error and gets chastised for it. Sad. I don't either team on that form are good enough to win the HC. But both are still in it and tbh I think Tigers could improve whereas I'm not sure Ulster can. Note I say could improve. We still have...

Re: Tigers vs Ulster - Teams up!!

Sorry. It cannmot be right that in a match between two teams from different leagues the ref whould be from one of those leagues. We should have a French Ref, :smt010 He's from a different country Bill. Leagues have nothing to do with it.Your last post with this rubbish in it was deleted and rightly...

Re: Heineken Cup no nearer a resolution (2)

I’m terrified of my mother in law moving in with us Bill, but other than that horror I'm fine. Afraid is the wrong term Bill. I do not want people like Bruce and Nigel running the show. You see I don’t trust them as I believe they will look after themselves to the detriment of all others. I believe...
