Re: The Clash

I'm glad to see that Jordan Olufewa has been given a chance on the bench and I'm sore that he will probably
play 20 or 30 minutes in the second half. He is an exciting young back that I;m sure will have a great future with the club, that is if Tigers can hold on to him. :smt026

Re: I am really disappointed in the club

Disappointed but not surprised, there is a cancer at the heart of Tigers administration and operations that has been present for at least the last 6 years if not even longer. This decision is yet another manifestation, Tigers really have to sort this out before outside bodies are brought in to inves...

Re: Saracens up for sale

Rumour is that the former owner who still has a large shareholding is trying to buy back the shares he sold to the South Africans.

Re: The Clash

Stay at home and watch the match live on Channel 5,at least you will avoid the journey and that god awful man on the Tannoy. But you never know he might have been stricken with Laryngitis hopefully. :smt026

Re: The Clash

Yeah I'm not going this year either but it;s purely for financial reasons. For me last year's experience was spoilt by a group of so called Bath supporters soddled with either Lager or Cider, one of whom invaded the pitch close to the end of the game just after we had scored and as the ref had to st...

Re: Christian Wade

I always think that Wade would do well on strictly either the English or American versions at least he could continue the practice of not bothering how to defend. His best dance would be the quickstep but I would n't give twopence to watch his waltz. :smt018

Re: The Clash

Why is it called the Clash? Is it some advertising loon who thought up the name to describe one of the oldest fixtures in Club rugby or has someone at Bath got shares in a firm which sells percussion instruments? It's not even played at Bath's traditional home, presumably because Bath are so cash st...

Re: Have I missed Dom Barrow leaving us?

As things seem to have gone downhill at the Saints (Weep,Weep!) might there be room for Gibbo back at Welford road? :smt007

Re: Tigers v Wasps Sunday March 25th

Excellent fighting win and our subs were superb. It's good to see Gengy back he provides us with that little extra up front and it was noticeable how dominant we were in the scrums after he came on, Surely an England recall is shortly in the offing? :smt026

Re: Tigers v Wasps Sunday March 25th

If Genge is available for selection then he should be No.1 on the team sheet literally. Don;t see the sense of just putting him on the bench if he is fit enough to play, though Bateman has done well in his absence. My squad of 23 would be:- 1.Genge 2 Youngs 3 Cole 4. Kitchener 5. Fitzgerald. 6, Will...

But as in the true Tigers tradition most of these excellent youngsters will probably have to ply their trade elsewhere. :smt010

Re: Guscott in the rugby paper

Notwithstanding this article Saturdays abysmal performance By Guscott and the rest of the panel made me want to puke and the colour brown (not I hasten to add anything to do with skin colour) was uppermost in my mind. They were so far up one wonders how they managed to crawl back out again. :smt043 ...

Re: Vesty leaves Worcester

Vesty for Murphy? No way, you have to be kidding. I see Geordan Murphy as our long term solution to our coaching problem but do recognise in the short term he may have to depart elsewhere to obtain the necessary experience in being a director of Rugby, Geordan is very much a Leicester man in terms o...
