BRITISH LIONS V SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE TEAM

I've heard that some people are suggesting a game between the British Lions and a SH side (new zealand, australia, samoa & fiji). I think this could be a good idea to be played once every 5 years or so, but with one difference all the money raised to go to charity i.e help for heroes or maybe th...

Re: Lions - it depends on your spectacles.

You could take this point of view for every game. If Halfpenny had kicked in the closing seconds of the second game then the third test would still be the decider. And yes you could look at loads of different things, Gatlands selection, the 10 welsh players etc but at the end of the day a great squa...

Re: Wallabies v Lions - 3rd Test

Well played BRITISH Lions, brilliant result. It doesn't matter if you are WELSH, english, irish or scottish. That was a great performance by every squad player and back room staff. I'm even tempted to buy a Lion shirt. Gatland got it right then,I even had a moan about him picking 10 WELSH men. Still...

Re: Wallabies v Lions - 3rd Test

Not convinced,I think the best and more importantly fittest fifteen should start. If Phillips and Roberts aren’t 100% then that’s too much of a risk, if they have to go off and we collect other injuries there could be problems. 10 welsh men in the side? I’m welsh but it should be the best player in ...

Castrogiovanni

Did any of you read the Rugby Paper today?
There was an article by Castro saying that he was unhappy by the way Cockerell treated him when he wanted to leave. He had to pay out of his own money to be released and that a lot of the squad were unhappy at the club.
Any thoughts?

Re: New Kit

Don't put words in my mouth that I didn't say, I merely pointed the op to a page, with a photo with a shirt without stripes. Secondly how do you know a lot of people didn't like it? There were a lot on show at the ground the following year, so plenty bought them.I still wear mine from time to time, ...

Re: New Kit

Thanks GT1, after a regiment. That makes sense and shows respect.

I'm not too keen on it to be honest but then I like a kit to be thick material and have a collar.

I dreading seeing seeing the new Cardiff Blues kit, comes out 20 July. Prob just be plain blue.

New Kit

Just wondering what you thought of your new kit?
In the past it's always been prominent red, white & green. Now it seems mainly green.

Also how did you take the name Tigers? That's not a wind up, just curioious.

Re: Reality TV/Antique Programmes

It's the same with the home make over programmes or buying selling houses, and they never buy one. It must be so easy for them, no actors to pay no script writers or big production fees. AND on Masterchef they buy so much food that doesn't get used and must be wasted. Makes you wonder where the lice...

Thanks Flea, Don't worry there'll ne no slagging off from me. I enjoy the sport and respect other teams. I'm a bit old school I suppose, and as I say I have a kind of affinity with Leicester through a friend. The staff there are good as well. At the recent game at Exeter we waited around after the g...

Hi, well this is going to be interesting so lets see how it goes. I'm a Cardiff Blues fan but live in england. I have a workmate/friend whose a big Tigers fan and I have been to see Tigers play at Sandy Park for the last three seasons with her and been to Welford Road twice, would have been more but...
