Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

An epic season, that is unlikely ever to happen again. Only thing I can disagree with there :smt003 :smt003 That said it was kind of unique. Back in the day there was an expectation. Not only was there limited expectation at the start of the season but even in the Final Saracens were strong favouri...

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Personally, a bit fed up with the Sarries doing so well from the championship bull. they were never a championship side. They didn’t go down because they were poor, they went down for cheating! Yeah, I kinda hold with that sentiment. I think it was inevitable the core of their squad would ride it o...

Re: Wasps still in the mire

I listened to the Rugby Pod podcast but I really started to dislike Andy Goode who seemed to be quite tabloid, misogynistic and generally a bit of a :censored:. So started finding better things to listen to. I've really little time for the bloke. As for Wasps. I've no dislike of the coaches and play...

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Saracens starting 15 has so much quality and experience. I just hope we can use spoiling tactics and defence to keep it tight as I think we can finish the game stronger and have some good bench options. Going to be tough though and would be something special to win this.

Betting odds (via oddschecker):

Saracens 1/2
Tigers 9/4

On the handicaps Sarries are generally 5 to 6 points favourites.

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

This game worries me for a few reasons: We've been top of the league all season so I really don't want to fall now. We haven't been playing our best recently but other teams have deffinitely picked up over the course of the season and/or playing better as the weather gets better and we've still bee...

Re: Premiership Final v Saracens - 18th June 2022 KO 15:00

Right……Got my ticket to display the bar code on my iPhone so nearly there for my 1st Twickenham match. Couple of questions from an old dinosaur. Am I right in thinking entry to the stadium is by bar code via the app only,?I’d rather have a piece of paper in my hand !! For anyone without an iPhone o...

Quite happy for the media to focus on Sarries and to big them up.

To be fair I have them as favourites too.

Will be all the sweeter if our boys can pull it off.

Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere but Montoya looked like he was struggling with his knee towards the end of the game on Saturday.

Re: Semi final v Saints - 11th June 2022 KO 4-30pm

For me, our forward pack (including bench) is stronger and I am hoping we can tactically make that count. Backs wise, Saints are dangerous, so our defence is going to have to be on it, as they have been most of the season. Need a good start, get the fans going and get Saints giving up some pens so w...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Saturday 07th May 2022 - 5-30pm KO

Good summary Ian I watched the game dispassionately (and with no sound!) for the first time after reading the reports and this thread last night. After that start it was a fairly even game, a bit short on quality and fluidity from both sides in honesty. You felt that if we could have got closer on t...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (H) - Saturday 07th May 2022 - 5-30pm KO

Don't really get all this discussion about salary caps/systems. The vast majority seem to be in agreement that we didn't play too well, made some bad tactical decisions and substitutions. So given the score it seems if we'd have got things right it would have been much closer and we could have won. ...

https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/leicester-tigers-v-leinster-tigers-7039280 Well a few contradictions here, talks about how Connacht pushed us close at their place, then talks about how Leinster managed their players, did I miss where he talks about the fact the team we sen...
