Re: Race for the top 4.

Will be a massive bonus if we make the play offs IMO.

This is a certainly a one game at a time scenario.

One good thing is a don't think we have too many distractions/players out.

Not going into the end of season with high expectations but just hoping for the best.

Re: Championship Clubs Promotion

I hold no torch for Ealing but I am surprised at the question given what I've always read.

Is there any real evidence to say that they would turn it down were it on the table?

Ashurstwoodtiger wrote: Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:54 pm Just had a thought one of the problems with promotion for Champinship Clubs is ground size, not supporter size.
Is it?

What evidence is there for that?

Re: Ben Youngs (YBY)

His nickname is Lenny and he told Rugby World: “I wish I had a story for it but I’m the youngest of 28 first cousins and we all have the same sort of nickname – Benny became Lenny and it stuck. Everyone calls me that now.”

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Sadly but realistically it's hard to see anything but an Ireland romp.

England are no mugs and it's sport. Bit of luck here and there, maybe a red card for Ireland (although they are generally very discipled, maybe we'll click.

Other two games much more interesting though tbh.

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests - Latest: Andrea Pinchen

Not sure what people expect from such an interview. Season ticket wise: stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they put them up after Covid there would be an uproar. So they've held off and now other things have made it even more challenging - so they've bitten the bullet. Will be challenging ini...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby

Worth noting a similarity in the regionality of rugby in France and the make of the clubs in the League. I posted this in 2021: Yes, La Rochelle is clearly the Top 14 team with the lowest number of actual local players - although they are home to one Elissalde family, so it's not like no rugbyman wa...
