I agree that there are a number of reasons we should go full bore for this one.

If by the time we play Sharks we are out of top 4 but safely in Champions Cup then let's focus on blooding people for next season.

Also bearing in mind that for all the pre-game optimism in this thread on the McKeller thread his sacking is being openly discussed and I suspect will only intensify if we get a spanking from Saints and/or don't make top 4. Such is the fickle nature of sports fans.

Bookies have Saints at long odds on to win (range 4/9 to 2/7). On handicap you can get Tigers +9 with odds of 10/11 so if you think we have a decent chance fill your boots. Saints at 3/10 and Tigers at 5/2 means bookies have 35% chance Tigers win, 65% chance Saints win. That's not long odds at all....

One thing is for sure the RFU/Premiership aren't helping/driving it and until they do I don't see much changing.

If the criteria is budget, infrastructure, fan base rather than on the field performance than you are talking about US-style franchising which everyone seems to be against.

Saints were a real flakey team in recent seasons. Not so now. We are the ones looking flakey. I have hope but my head says this is going to be difficult.
