Re: Law changes coming in to effect 1st July
I thought earlier this season the refs were told to be tougher on the 5 seconds (I distinctly remember JVP being told "good call" by the ref when he ushered away a forward who was about to join the caterpillar). One of those new guidelines which lives briefly and then quietly dies. It say...

Re: Law changes coming in to effect 1st July
No issue with the Caterpillar so long as the ball is used when the call is made and refs stick to the 5 seconds The call is often made too late and then they don't stick to the 5 seconds. The problem for the refs is now the whole thing has become so orchestrated and has been in practice for such a ...

Re: Dan Mckellar
Some players enjoy the fitness side more than others. Max Lahifff v Goodey for example.
A lot of it can be quite tedious and boring.
A good S&C lead can be priceless.
But I think there is an element of generally how motivated and happy players are.

Re: Law changes coming in to effect 1st July
Outlawing of the caterpillar ruck would have been the first thing on the list for me. I’m not that opposed to an extended ruck it’s the adding of 1 or 2 more bodies when the ball is already at the back that annoys me Yeah, that's what I would outlaw. When this was discussed on here it seemed univer...

Probably good that expectations are very low for next season.

Not sure I’ll bother turning up for the Exeter game next week. Got far more interesting things to do, jet washing the patio, cutting the grass, watching paint dry, to name just three. Lot of fair weather fans showing themselves this last couple of weeks. Not a fair weather fan, a season ticket hold...

Re: Tigers v Sale (A) - Premiership - Friday 10th May 2024 - KO: 7:45pm
Just to clarify, we've lost the game, conceded the 4 try bonus point try and not picked up a losing bonus point....and this isn't a disappointing result? Is it because we only lost by 9 or because we didn't throw it away in the last 10 minutes this week? Some people are very easily pleased if that'...

Not too bad in the end. Glad I stuck with it.
Obviously a lot to do in the Summer but there is a semblance of a good team there.

On "losing the dressing room". Players will not be saying that at this stage. And it's an ambigious thing anyway. And I think many of us are not calling for him to be sacked but merely feeling uncomfortable with the general vibe - messages put out, selections, recruitment. Not all of this ...

I have been one of those that has said McKellar more time but got to admit this selection and what he has been saying this week is testing me.
