Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2017/18 & 2018/2019

Well, at least there is a possibility of improvement.

Let's give them a crack at it.

Re: New coaching structure?

For me Murphy has to be moved out of the coaching team. Retain him as DOR as I think he has a good vision for the team moving forwards but is lacking in technical coaching ability. I'm not saying you are wrong, I don't think I am qualified to say but are you just basing that on results? A lot of pe...

Re: Genge talks about this season

It's taken a while but maybe it's starting to sink in around the place that it's not the noughties anymore. It's a new era and needs to be trreated as such. Not by ignoring the past and not by changing every single thing about what we do. But instead realising that there has to be organisation, stat...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

Yes, if all of those things bring money until the club, then carry on. The players are on the pitch for 80 minutes a week. All the other time can be spent being much needed money into the club. You're not really getting it, which is fine... not everyone will. Ok, so what do you mean then? The playe...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 7

I'm interested to know (genuinely) who you would like to see come in on the coaching front that might be a realistic option? Speaking for myself I haven't a clue. I wouldn't have a clue about player recruitment either. I mean who would have said we should sign Ayerza, TV, Genge, Parling. The best s...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

The team are playing badly - the wedding didn't affect that But that is the debate.... it's not personal against the couple getting married just as it's not personal about the players. Somebody wants to pay a few grand to get married on the pitch at half term, kerching. What next? I know let's have...

Not sure why the fans are getting it in the neck for their pessimism.

Re: Tigers vs Bath

To be fair to Murphy he's stuck between a rock and a hard place for this game.

Secondly, sometimes our team has looked great on paper and still been poor.

Thirdly, some of our youngsters have played pretty well and outshone supposed senior pro's at times this season.

Re: London Irish: an immorality tale?

Just to note a poster was on here yesterday evening casting similar aspersions as Smudge and I challenged them on it. There and mine posts were pulled, presumably because the moderators don't wanted to save said poster from making anonymous allegations on a official and public forum against Tigers p...

I can assure you it does happen and is widespread.
How? As in how can you assure us? What credentials, what evidence have you to say and do so?

Re: Tigers vs Bath

Barff merit their season on how well they stuff Tigers. Its the two days in the calendar that means so much to them. Its history. The whole club is pumped for this one. TBH that is their problem. I could be wrong but I expect most of our fans in interested in a broader success than beating Bath on ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 7

We are, in my humble opinion, much better equipped for the next season. A nasty, aggressive pack that will secure the ball and allow the backs to flow. We will be no better equipped unless the BoD bring some clarity to the of the field machinery and we sort out the coaching structure, put the right...

Re: Thoughts & conclusions on the season.

Commercial activities aren't the reason why the team isn't doing well. It's a contributory factor. As Chutes said on the podcast it used to be that the people in the ticket office wanted to be the best rugby ticket office in the country. Also all the commercial revenue goes to the playing side. So ...
