Jaco Taute is expected to be unavailable for up to three months and will undergo surgery on a torn bicep.
That's a bad loss.

Re: Murphy's "vision".

I believe it is a combination of the right calibre of coaches who will create synergy in a squad first, then build on the game strategy fed from the Head Coach across the board to the specialist coaches. That synergy is the key. Well I'd agree with that to an extent but I think it goes further than...

Re: Kyle Eastmond

To me he's a player who could be a great asset with the right coaching and the right playing structures.

I think when a team has been playing like we have the last 2/3/4 seasons it's hard to discern what players are underperformed and which are being badly coached/managed.

Re: SARRIES FUTURE

They'll be back. Ironically their cheating has established a solid enough club infrastructure to survive and recover.

They will of course be a weaker force as a result and may struggle to re-establish themselves as one of the most dominant teams in the Prem/CL.

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

Both sets of supporters claiming they have a weakened team and not expecting much. Chap on the Sale forum says they bookies have them as 13 point favourites, which seems a bit excessive given the two teams are likely to be a bit dysfunctional and the crappy weather. Not saying we'll win of course. ...

Largely agree with the sentiments though I do wonder if he had his limitations.

A bit like Cockers maybe...

But perhaps I'm being harsh...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

Not a big fan of Isiekwe. Mallins was a sensation in his first few matches but I seem to have seen/heard less of him lately. However, one wonders whether these ex-Sarries players will be in a good place mentally - either because of the tainting of their culture/environment and/or because they are ki...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

Tom Youngs gets 4 week ban. Because he's an idiot and deserves it. He's a throwback from the days when a few punches were part and parcel of the game but his sneaky effort hidden beneath a pile of bodies can only be described as petulant and that's one thing that is unacceptable, especially in your...

Re: RFU halves Championship funding.

The $64m question is what targets haven't they met?

Secondary being is this is the correct response?

Not sure you can answer the second before the first....

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

Given the weather and relative forward packs I am thinking we can grind a low scoring win. No TBP.

Might not be a pretty game

Re: IS this season a waste of money and time

The OP specifically mentioned this season so I guess it's more to do with the Saracens situation than Leicester's malaise. You could approach it in a more positive light. People have complained that the salary cap wasn't being enforced and although it's late and a bit of a dogs dinner, it's finally ...

Re: French rugby 2019/20

Yeah, shame about Biarritz. Although one assumes it's of their own making? Weren't they relagated from the Top14 a few years ago again due to financial problems? Many feel that a merger with Bayonne (only a couple of kms down the road) would have been the sensible option and create one top flight c...
