Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers

Had a nice chat with EW and JT at the riders tonight. EW is looking to be fit for the Stains game and JT maybe the week after. I’ve had a couple of sherry’s, but one said they had broke a bone in their hand, hence the lack of involvement so far. EW, JT??? Who are you referring to? Not all users are...

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

Given the comparative line ups we should be winning.

That said there were a lot of positives to take out the game.

A baby step back to to rugby domination... well you can but hope!

The question that follows is it worth it for grossly overpriced, poorly kept beer.

My pre-match drinks will be outside of the ground.
Most of us figured this out long ago. I don't understand why anyone persists.

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Seasons 2017,2018 & 2019/20

I have not seen any comments regarding the move to a cashless stadium and the effect that this will have on the thousands of fans who do not have or use cashless credit cards. How many people don't have or use a debit or credit card? The whole reason it is being done is because it is more efficient...

elite noun 1. a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society You might be happy with your surgery carried out by somebody dragged off the street at random but if I was to need a surgeon, I would like to have an elite one. The same goes for pretty ...

Re: Elitism in Rugby

Whilst we are discussing rugby here there is a general issue as noted in the OP. We don't want an elitist society. It's unhealthy. elite noun 1. a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society You might be happy with your surgery carried out by som...

Re: Elitism in Rugby

How we solve is difficult because you have to break the elite's hold which is by definition very strong.

Need a centrist statesperson who is astute and patient.

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

Will the money buy better training facilities? when we allegedly have the best in the league already! I'm not sure where you read we have the best in the league already? And certainly there were plans to move which didn't come off and then other opportunities/priorities killed the idea in the short...

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

Personally I think this fantastic news.... with the proviso I'm not sure if I trust the board to choose the right buyers!! But really, it's what we need. People have been saying on here for a while that things are not right off the pitch resulting in a lack of accountability. Also that in terms of c...

How does that explain Genge's experience?
Genge slipped through the net, as exceptional talent does sometimes.

Re: Guinness threat to London Irish

I think the discussion has been had. You pays your money and makes your choice.

Two sponsors have clearly made their choice.

Guinness withdrawing is quite significant because of the history.

But if Jackson performs on the field and Irish are competitive I'm sure the club will get over it.

Re: Not a happy place like the Ricoh!

Or is it a case lower division football club can't afford to rent the use of major stadium and the owners of that stadium deciding that the money on offer doesn't justify sharing? Wasps shouldn’t be there anyway. They should still be in the London area. I’ll never change my mind on that. Have you e...
