Interesting point about Carling, but he was a genuinely brilliant player, and dynamic captain. The players today have no character, no dynamism. They just spend their time in the gym becoming hulks of meat.

England have spent far too long hacking through the squad after each game.

Goode is the right option. An expansive game plan had brought two losses, and looked like bringing a third. The England players are too inaccurate and unskilled to play that kind of game. Whil they are trying to rebuild confidence they will have to play ten man rugby.

Germany has suffered at the hands of the Euro. You cannot integrate the finances of separate states.

There is a point in one of the previous posts.
i think you would struggle with all of physics using imperial measurements instead of metric. Relativity would become even more complex.

The metric system does make more sense. After all imperial measurements were taken from various bits of the human antomy, usually the king's. But I still like to drink in pints, and drive in miles per hour, despite being far less accurate than the distance travelled by light during so many oscillati...

Its a sensible idea, but I see two problems. The extra width and pace would kill the forwards. You would probably end up with injuries due to tired players not being able to ruck or scrummage properly. The extra space would also make defending a nightmare. Any significant increase would make it too ...

Put his boot where his mouth is and landed a monster kick. For once someone backs up their words.
