Re: Exeter (A) - Sunday 27th March 2022
Slightly different topic - Exeter have been 'forced' to move away from their native American identity due to it's racist overtones, yet they still insist on shouting that bleedin' annoying war chant (am I mistaken I thinking they even played it over their PA?). Have they no shame? Thoughts anyone? :...

Re: QUINS (H) - ROUND 19 - 15th May 2021
Having a laugh? Not for me. Clear forward passes for two of their trys and a poor decision against Genge putting us down to 13, where it should have been 14 a piece. We rode the tide and came through. Multiple terrible calls against us, next to nothing against Quins had the correct calls have been ...

Re: Saracens are relegated!
PRL should change the rules such that honors won whilst a club is knowingly in breach of capping requirements can have such honors removed retrospectively. It is an affront to the competition that their name remains on the trophy and in the official record books. Such actions happen in other sports...

Re: Saracens are relegated!
Please can someone explain how Sarries are allowed to complete the rest of this season with a squad, that by their own admission, is outside of the salary cap? They may have a contractual obligation to pay players, but surely they have moral obligation to every other team in the Premiership and thei...

Re: Tigers v Wasps Sunday March 25th
Can we have a mention for Polota-Nau who did a tour of the pitch after the match to thank the fans, with a big grin on his face! A nice touch.

Where did that come from? All be it against a weakened Sarries side.

Re: Departure of Cockerill
I know a man who knows a man who knows a man... who knows someone close to Tigers, and a certain MJ is being mentioned in chatter.
A possibility?

Re: Decent real ale pubs close to City Ground?
The Trent Navigation Inn on Meadow Lane, near the County ground has its own brewery. Otherwise the Larwood and Voce next to the cricket ground also does decent food.
Near the rail station try Fellows, Morton and Clayton on Canal Street. A cask marque pub with a decent range of beers.

Re: Tigers chants & songs
Hearing a packed Welford Road chanting 'Tigers' and hearing it echo round the ground has got be be far better than any wendyball type chants and songs. Surely it's about the volume and passion not some trite ditty.

"Premiership Rugby can confirm that certain issues were pursued last season with some clubs relating to access to information and to commercial contracts where there were differences of opinion as to the correct inclusion or not in the salary cap spend. The issues were not straightforward and w...

Apparently you'll be able to store the new Tigers' season ticket on your mobile phone so won't need a lanyard (or card)!

Re: Ed Slater interview re Leiecester England plus Schalk Br
I don't like being a smart :censored: but if you're specializing in rugby interviews be aware that the Heineken Cup no longer exists (first question to Ed Slater). I think it's now the European Rugby Champions Cup.
